Ubi Soft has or at least had the animated Batman license and released the promising Batman: Vengeance and then the boring beat-em up Rise of Sin Tzu (Batman titles should focus on stealth, imo) so i was curious if anyone has heard any talks of a possible new video game based on my new favorite show, "The Batman"?
Kemco had the comics license and did Dark Tomorrow (which i actually loved though many didn't) and EA appears to be on the verge of a Batman Begins movie licensed game but i would love to see Ubi Soft or whoever do a game based on "The Batman". with such interesting new takes on the villians and an emphasis on Alfred i htink it could be very cool.
i am thoroughly loving The Batman. sure, BTAS is/was a classic but i am enjoying The Batman just as much which speaks volumes! i love everything about this show!

Shouldn't the question really be "Is there any chance there will NOT be a video game for The Batman?" I assume that the work involved in translating the artwork would delay production of such a game, but with the level of success this show is likely to attain, in both viewership and product tie ins, I suspect it is just a matter of time. ;D

That will be cool if there is a "The Batman" video game. However, I don't think it will be soon enough. The show just hit the air, and it will take a while for the game to hit store. You did like Batman: Dark Tomorrow? That's awsome! But can anyone please tell me: is there a PS2 version of the game. I've been searching for it since forever.

Nope, sorry man, Dark tomorrow never came and will never come to the ps2, it was cancled, for no given reason, though I assume it was because of poor sales on xbox and gamecube. Sorry to break the bad news to you.

Why can't they ever do Batman right when it comes to video games? They should base it off of Spiderman, or use the Grand Theft Auto play. Batman should be able to go anywhere and do anything and use his entire Rogue's Gallery.

So far, I think Sin Tzu is the best Batman video game ever. I would love to see something more like Spiderman, but for some reason DC just can't get it done.
One of my all time fav games with Batman in it was the Justice League fighting game from the Super Nintendo. I've always regretted getting rid of that....

I think it would be cool to have a Capcom-like fighter game where you could easily have the same styled characters and you could play as the villains and use special move combos etc.

That's what the JLA Task Force game from Super NES was. You could be Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, Aquaman, Flash, Despero, Cheetah or Darkseid. Each one had their own special ability. The settings varied, depending on the characters being used. There was Atlantis, Metropolis, Gotham, and Apokolips for sure - Fantasy oops - I mean Amazon Island might have been a background also.
It was a really fun game. After talking about it, I think I might have to call around to my local game stores to see if I can find a copy... then I just have to find a Super Nintendo... ;D

[shadow=red,left,300]There has been a couple of Batman video games that I've enjoyed over the years. Both were on the Super Nintendo..Batman Returns & The Adventures of Batman & Robin. Excellent side scrollers and very faithful to the source material.[/shadow]

That would be awesome (and if they did copy Spider-man 2 I'd hope they'd let the Rogue's Gallery commit random crimes... it bothered me in SM2 once the super villians were done with their story arc they disappeared and only their goons remained to rob a bank... I mean, why not after you 'caught' the Joker in the storyline he shows up committing random heist and crazy schemes, it would really up the replay in that you'd be actually playing a Batman style adventure, not 'wasting your time' on minor crooks)

I have that game and I must say, its so great. I always make Batman beat all the JL. ;D I also have The Adventures of Batman & Robin for Super nintendo and that has to be the best Batman game ever.

[shadow=maroon,left,300]If they make this game (which is likely), it has to be about beating the crap out of villains! No weird controls or wacked-out story lines, just hardcore thug and villain action!
Oh, and cel shaded. It has to be cel shaded! ;D[/shadow]
