[shadow=green,left,300]In my opinion.....not for a long time.
Perhaps season four, should we be fortunate enough to make it that far.
To be honest, I like seeing Batman the way he was meant to be...without the suits demanding a bat-family to make it better for kids. Kids like BATMAN![/shadow]

I rather like the concept of Batman being on his own at the moment.Once others come into play i find he can get limited and the truth be told he's growing into his role at the moment so to speak.So adding a sidekick would be detrimental at this stage IMO. Give him time and see how the show goes for now,who knows what the future holds?If we keep supporting it fully,they'll keep churning out the seasons.And then there'll be room for growth down the track.

I think it's way too early for Robin to show up. I have alway's preferred Batman on his own and I want him to stay that way on this show for as long as possible.

Please...no Robin, no Batgirl, no Nightwing. Please!!!
The Batman is best when he is solo. the only characters i desire working with The Batman is Commisioner Gordon and of course Alfred. i really love the emphasis that The Batman's first episodes have put on the so important Alfred Pennyworth.
and to be honest...after watching the first four episodes of The Batman last nite on vcr i then watched some episodes of BTAS. now the early episodes of BTAS were incredible as are alot of those in that series. but the ones i watched last night had Robin in them and then a couple from The New Batman Adventures with the younger Robin (Drake) and Batgirl.
to be honest, i actually preferred the new The Batman shows better (at least better than the later episodes of the Animated series.) Of course MOTP, On Leather Wings, Over the Edge are some of the greatest stories ever told! but i love Matsuda's versions of The Batman and the rogues gallery just as much if not moreso than Timm's look. its new and its fresh and i really love the look of The Batman.
of course Timm's animated series set the bar and its up to everyone else to now somehow not compete with it as its a different thing altogether but at least reach the same quality as Timm's version. Matsuda's does and i love his renderings and i am really loving The Batman!!
what i'm trying to say is the first run of BTAS were incredible but once the Robins, Nightwings, Batgirls were added it really wasn't nearly as good to me except for a couple of exceptions (the aforementioned Over the Edge being one). it waters down the menacing character of The Batman, imo.
so please.....just keep The Batman solo along with just Alfred and Gordon (at some point).

Oh please for the love of God no Robin! I understand that Robin is a part of Batman, but I don't think he should be introduced until after a few seasons. Let The Batman develop further on his own and let them introduce Commissioner Gordon and allow that relationship to grow. Robin can wait.

[shadow=purple,left,300]Eventually, maybe... I'm enjoying "The Batman" without Robin or any major sidekicks right now. But who knows? Maybe, down the road, the show will get bland, and WB will throw Robin into the mix. Until then, Robin should stay out of the picture.[/shadow]

I can see The WB saying to put Robin in there. AFter all, they are the ones to say that he had to be in Mystery Of The Batwoman....
As for should he? I'm kinda torn, since this isn't following the comics (not saying thats a bad thing) Then I think they need to wait, S3-5 maybe.

As much as I like Robin, I don't want him in the show. Not yet anyway.

I like it with Batman flying solo. Like Matt said, if there is a season four maybe he could show up then.

I agree Robin should not be included for a while . Sadly I just dont think the show will go that far. Although I would love to see their interpretation! As a side note, I would LOVE to see a Robin and or nightwing appearance on JLU!!!
