Dont lock this thread yet!! just read:
This is in other forums, and it seems that in the episode 'grundy's night' batman is in a museum and he passes a figure that is very similar to batman. i dont have clear pictures but here's what i got:
it certainly looks like superman. and to all those people who think this is a spoiler it is not! its just something someone noticed.
n*e*wayz, could it be superman?? maybe he will have hes own tv show in the same universe as superman. or at least i hope he has an apperance.

Maybe... SPOILER highlight to read Maybe it was Clayface but that could still be a reference to superman existing in this universe

Its always possible that the crew threw it in for fun as a little easter egg...it certainly doesn't mean anything in terms of a Superman in this universe...its likely, if anything, just a fun little thing they did.

I second what Matt said. It's a little easter egg, a blink-and-you'll-miss-it reference to the Man of Steel, no more signifigant than when the cops say they're on the corner of Rogers and Englehart or when the guy in the car says that he's "moving to Metropolis."
Could Superman exist in this universe? Sure. Is there any chance he'll appear in The Batman? Who knows. At this point, I think the creative team is more interested in playing with the characters they do have than trying to squeeze in guest spots from other heroes in the DCU -- but as the show goes on, say, into a fifth season, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Superman or others made an appearance.

Maybe it's Bizzarro? Because his fingers look really wierd and the way he is standing. But his skin isn't white so I could be off...

Hey Guys,
I'm surprised and glad some one caught that. It doesn't portent anything impending. I simply put that in for kicks. If examined closely, you'll find distinct differences with this fellows costume and that of the actual Man of steel. It is a tough thing to do however, as that the screen resolution is tough to get from a screengrab. I had alot of fun doing folk for the wax museum scenes. It was a pity that they went by so quickly.

[glow=green,2,300]OH GOOOOOOOD Matt... You have me scared there... I was thinking that Superman was acctually gonna team up with Batman... I'm thinking NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Batman's too cool of a hero to be seen with some happy-go-lucky dorky superhero who actually has powers... Most comicbook superheros don't have powers, it's acctually mutations and "birth deformities". So that's interesting.
Sorry I just don't like Superman... But I think that little puns or mentions are fine... Showing that Batman isn't the only hero on the plant.
BY THE WAY... Yesterday marks the THIRD time I saw Batman Begins... That movie was the best thing since flushing toilets...[/glow]

Whoa... That's so cool. It sort of resembles the new Supes in Superman Returns. With the colors of the suit and the 3-d emblem. So just for fun right Matt? haha Appreciated you getting the pic. Always wondered what Superman would look like in THE BATMAN universe.

So Matt that picture was drawn just for fun right? WB aren't having any ideas on having a Superman cartoon show to pump up the Superman Franchise with Superman Returns coming out next year?

Hey Guys,
That there is a bit of Superman art that I drew just for kicks. I figure after working on The Batman for a little over 2 years...some art about that guy over in Metropolis might be fun. I have to say that at the time that The Batman Preproduction wrapped in early August, there were no plans to introduce Superman into the The Batman continuity that I am aware of....Though Jeff, Jose and I would've thought that it would've been really cool to do.
I will say that the designs I have seen for the new Superman movie inspired me to doodle this as that I am not so fond of the slight modifications made to the suit as yet not. It may grow on me once I see it in context in the film though. I hope that the movie is great.

after seeing it again, i started thinking, and everyone jumps to say Superman, but remember what episode this appeared in, and remember who the villain was, and now look to the comics and think what hero was in Gotham before Batman and fought Grundy on many occasions? Sentinel, Alan Scott, the first green lantern, he wore a red cape and stopped wearing the ring long ago. just figured i'd throw another name and guess out there.
