Thanks to everyone that has signed the petition so far.
Apparently Toon Zone has posted that we said the show was cancelled. Thats obviously false information, as you can plainly read, we never said the show was cancelled only that it wasn't for sure that it would return. As a fan, I'm not willing to take that risk without saying something.
Don't be fooled by other sites attempts to place themselves in the middle of something and say "lookit me, lookit me!". Ol' Jimbo Harvey over at TZ has some sour grapes with LoG, so he goes out of his way to discredit or distort anything we say. I, for one, have better things to do with my time.
The fans know who brings them the news, the interaction and the FACTS! All we're doing here is showing our support. Nothing more, nothing less.

the petition is now closed to avoid any further confusion, as caused by other, less informed sites. Lets all just hope for the best.

The Batman CANNOT & WILLNOT be canceled. If the bigwigs at WB decide to cancel, the entire LOG Comunity will make it themselves.

The Batman has recruited new Batman fans all over who watch Saturday morning cartoons. It's given a new interesting take on the character that youngsters can better relate to. I was originally skeptical of the show until I saw the pilot and outright loved it.
It's also covered some interesting aspects that BTAS didn't cover.
The evolution of the police into trusting Batman. Sure, it was briefly touched upon in BTAS, but it was never one of the main themes. They go from hunting him down in the pilot to Yin secretly forming a partnership with him in the Season 1 finale to acknowledging his benevolent presence in "Fire and Ice." I know what to expect when Gordon enters the picture in "Night and the City."
Bruce Wayne trying to balance out his life as Bruce and Batman is something I enjoyed seeing in episodes such as The Big Heat and The Big Dummy. It's something Bruce didn't have much of a problem with in BTAS, but it's been a central theme in a couple episodes of The Batman.
The evolution of Joker into a prankster into someone much much more dangerous. For example, in the pilot, his toxin seems to put everyone in some sort of coma while in "The Laughing Bat" Joker has his Joker Venom that could kill Batman. Let's not forget how he gleefully tears Ethan's mind apart in "The Rubberface of Comedy." I think that's the closest we'll get in a loong time to a Killing Joker adaptation. Joker also goes from the straight jacket look to the regular suit look.
I love the Alfred-Bruce relationship, especially in "Traction." It was great in BTAS, but here there's a bit of a conflict that is realistic and interesting in which Alfred doesn't actually want Bruce to be Batman. Again, more of an evolution into the established relationship in the current comics.
There's probably more, but the point I'm making is that The Batman brings something new to the screen. Something that we haven't seen before that establishes the show as a unique take on the Batman mythos.
It's for this reason that I'd like to see The Batman continue for a fourth season.

the petition is now closed to avoid any further confusion, as caused by other, less informed sites. Lets all just hope for the best. I'm just looking forward to seeing season 4 officially confirmed - by someone with a name. Once it is, we'll be seeing some new villains this season - Poison Ivy and Temblor (who you saw and heard about here on LOG first - as usual!) and hopefully that new intro! I know my daughter is looking forward to the introduction of Batgirl and that should make for some interesting episodes. The main thing is, I'll just be glad we'll be getting the chance to see more bad guy/good guy opportunities. The fan's show of support on the petition was immediate - quite a few signatures in just a couple of days. With all the uncertainty of season 4, I was a bit worried WB might have the wrong idea. Thankfully, LOG was able to play our part to show support for the show. Keep checking LOG for accurate info on upcoming episodes - that includes WHO'S going to be in them and when they'll be on. Just remember - this is a weekend show - new episodes don't have their first run on Tuesdays. Heck, if you have questions for the team that is behind the show, don't hesitate to ask - they're members of the community here at LOG and don't mind answering questions here.

Well said BatmAngelus.
I've got to agree with ya there Reideen. Its good that LoG is here to do our part to be the voice of the true fans. Its too bad that some sites have to blow things out of proportion and cause an unnecessary mess.

I thought of another reason why we need to keep THE BATMAN going. Since the next Batman movie won't be out for a few years, we need some Batman action to keep us busy until it comes out. Sure we could bring back BATMAN BEYOND, but THE BATMAN tells the early years of Batman, just as Begins did. Some may say that THE BATMAN is the animated version of BATMAN BEGINS. So we need to keep THE BATMAN going so we have something else Batman to watch until Begins 2.
BRING ON THE BATMAN!
