Gang - we have too many polls and speculation threads going on right now..with so many individual threads, the actual news is getting pushed down too far. So please discuss all speculation and talk not relating to a news thread here. Thanks!

OK /\/\att sorry about the posts I got a little carried away it won't happen again sorry No worries Riddler. I just want to get things back to some order in this board. The types of topics to be discussed here...examples are..."what if" discussions...polls about characters, villains, how you would do a season...where is a certain character? Any and all questions like that are great for this thread...we'll all check it periodically, and try to help out with answers!

I would make a guest appearance. The ratings would be so high, that I would later get a spin-off series for The Dark Nightwing. Unfortunately for The Batman, my ratings will be overwhelmingly higher, so after TB's cancellation, Batman will guest star on The Dark Nightwing.

Today at 6:08pm, wetstereorebel wrote:I do like 'The Batman', but for my money, the old Animated Series from the 90's was the best. Amen to that. I love The Batman, but B:TAS was my first introduction to Batman and it was such an incredible intro. I would like a lot more seasons, but I don't want to see this one really grasping to get new ideas (unless they start using some of mine) when there are so many great stories for other heroes. I want The Flash, The Martian Manhunter, The Superman, The Nightwing, The Green Arrow, The Justice League of America, etc. With JLU being "edged out" I want for more than just Batman. I say seven seasons maximum.
P.S. I wish B:TAS would have gotten seven seasons.

I mentioned him before and I am moving it over to this thread but I think that Krazy Quilt would make a great addition to The Batman, he is a colorful, tacky villian that I remember from the 80's (Thank you Batdan for pointing out he dates back to the 40's) and I think seeing as The Batman is really for kids I think he could work.

I like Creeper in all but, whats with the fluffy red cape and green and black outerwear. I like him but, I wish he would try to stop trying to attract Harley. No Offense.

I get a kick at Creeper's "fatigues". I don't understand it by any means, but I think it is how he dressed in the comics. Of course, he has a much different origin in the comics.

That would be awesome Techno Bat but, I hope we d on't see The Creeper he is is just freaky. No ofense I would like to see Krazy Quilt though . Thank You on Krazy Quilt, and about The Creeper Hmmmm.... he is a very interesting character, and depending on how they portray him on The Batman, which I don't think they would do right, I would not want to see him on The Batman either. Don't get me wrong I like The Creeper, I just don't see him working correctly on The Batman

BOYCOTT CARTOON NETWORK!!!!!!!! Does anybody really watch cartoon network? I know the only reason I watch it is/was for the Justice League (Unlimited), Teen Titans, and when they used to play re-runs of Batman The Animated Series, but with them dumping shows like JLU and trying to get rid of Teen Titans I doubt I will be tuning into that station anymore, I really don't like there lineup...

I agree. The only thing we watch on Cartoon Network is Krypto the Superdog. (My son loves it)
They are in serious need of a Superhero line-up or make one day each week Superhero Night.
Just a thought.

I want to see these villians badly.... Two-Face, Ra's Al Ghul, The Mad Hatter, Scarecrow, Black Mask ( thought he would have to be toned down, hey they done it to Joker), Nocturna, and Hush. i wish we could see what happened to Chief Rojas and Ellen Yin since Commissioner Gordon came in, we didn't have any closure to these characters. They just faded out! Does nay body know if there will be any closure? I wish Vicky Vale would be added to the series. I liked her in The Batman vs Dracula.

[shadow=purple,left,300]I'd like to see more Clayface, Riddler and Freeze in the upcoming season.
Likewise, I'm all for some new villains, such as Scarecrow, Mad Hatter and Harley Quinn. Maybe even some creative team-ups? I can't wait to see what's in store.[/shadow]

If my ideas on members' creativity were used, we would already have Mad Hatter, Black Mask, and Two Face. I may right a Scarecrow episode. I just watched the B:TAS volume one. They had a bunch of different Scarecrow episodes. I got some inspiration out of those.

Heh, when I was little, I used to call Twoface "Scarface" What an idiot Yes, I'd love to see Scarecrow, Ra's Al Ghul, Harley and possibly *gasp* A Joker-centric episode! One where he actually is portrayed as the deadliest person on the planet I mean...Then there is, (of coarse) Riddler, Poison Ivy, Mr Freeze, Clayface....ah, heck with it, bring back all of the villains in one giant episode Oooo....I just thought of something! Wouldn't it be cool if, after Scarecrow is established, he and Spellbinder teamup to take down Gotham and Batman? One uses fear, the other uses mind control. Just imagine the choas!

Althought its a great idea using War Games and twisting it a bit, the whole thing with Gang's and hardcore violence won't fly, because after all it is a kids show, no matter how much us older Bat-fans want it to be more hardcore it can't be right now.
It would be great to see another Batman cartoon similar to what Spawn was on HBO a bunch of years ago, they could go with Frank Millers The Dark Knight Returns for the era.
I want to see more and more of Batman's Rogue Gallery featured, less of The Joker and The Penquin and more lesser known villians along with some major villians like Ras Ah Ghul & The Scarecrow. And for lesser known villians that I think would work great on The Batman because of the goofy nature of the villians would be Krazy Quilt, The Cavalier, The Rat Catcher, and how about an old throw back villian from the 66 tv series King Tut or Egg Head.
Other characters I would like to see on The Batman: 1. Deadshot 2. Catman 3. Swampthing

I wouldn't mind seeing Ratcathcer on the show. And as much as I like Deadshot, they probably won't use him. He's an assassin and uses guns, and like you said, they're trying to avoid that.
Characters I'd like to see on THE BATMAN:
Ra's Al Ghul Scarecrow Two-Face Mad Hatter Black Mask

Batman Beyond touched on gang violence. I think it was the closest thing that we are going to have of a Gang War for Batman on TV. I had wanted to have two opposing gangs for BB. I thought the Jokerz needed to have an enemy. How about the Alley Cats? Guess who established them? It could be a cool way to bring Catman in, too. I guess this is more speculation toward Beyond than it is toward The Batman.

I JUST FOUND THIS OUT! I'm freaking out now! ;D ;D ;D ;D No Scarecrow . We get Mad Hatter!!! I hope he is done similar to B:TAS. They did a really great job with that character. Harley Quinn will be interesting to see. I wonder what their take on the character will be. I wonder if Ra's al Ghul will be similar BB. After all, every time a movie villain has come out, changes have to be made. For instance, Penguin was changed to a more deformed look in B:TAS. Catwoman was changed to a blonde to coincide with Batman Returns. Even Joker was referred to as Jack Napier in an episode of B:TAS. Riddler was changed to a ridiculous outfit in TNBA so that it would be more similar to Batman Forever. I wouldn't be surprised if Ra's al Ghul is changed to be more like Liam Neeson. I wonder how they will pronounce Ra's al Ghul.

Where at? This is unbelievable now some villains will be left behind think about it like 30 villains and now Riddler will probably have to team up with someone just to get an episode.

No Scarecrow and Two-Face, I know. Well, it's a kid show, and Two-Face does use gun violence. We got the same guy doing Robin's voice. We get Mad Hatter and Ra's Al Ghul! YAAA! Oh yeah, Harley too. You know this means more Joker. This is going to be great!

I trust wikipedia. They haven't steered me wrong yet. I think that something this big would have to be credible. They would be lynched otherwise. I trust them too. They said who does there voices for crying out loud. BRING ON.... THE BOY WONDER! THE DEMON'S HEAD! THE MAD HATTER! THE JOKER'S GIRLFRIEND! What? No alias for Mad Hatter. ;D

[shadow=purple,left,300]Well, Wikipedia did have a false listing of season 2/3 titles over the summer, so I don't know if I'm ready to believe this information or not, even though I want it to be true.
However, I trust Wiki with almost everything else. I'm sure Matt either knows or will find out if this is true or not. [/shadow]

I JUST FOUND THIS OUT! I'm freaking out now! ;D ;D ;D ;D Regardless of whether this news turns out to be true or not, do NOT trust Wilki. Seriously. Do you honestly think they're going to scoop LoG or WF on something like this? I seriously doubt that. Wilki is updated by regular people like you or me..its NOT an authority by any means and is constantly inaccurate.

You are right about that, the only way I see Deadshot on the show is if he shots some sort of water or glue or something like that out of his guns, perhaps even lasers, just something about bullets that probably wouldn't fly on the show...

While JLU is still up in the air, we aren't going to see on The Batman Deadshot, KGBeast, or Clock King. The Bat-Embargo is a double edged sword.

why can't another network pick it up though. a network like WB or something. [shadow=purple,left,300]Legal issues and the fact that the show could be a risky venture. If one network canceled it, they must have had a "good" reason. What's to say those same reasons won't be repeated on another network?
It would be nice if it could be picked up by another network, but that's very unlikely.[/shadow]

JLU got higher ratings than the animes they replaced it's time slot with. I believe that Bruce Timm had a falling out with WB. That would explain the cancellation of TT as well. That is just my speculation though.
The Bat-Embargo was such a stupid thing. When I was four, I could tell that Batman Returns and B:TAS were different. Same with the TMNT. Most of the time, I would get both action figures too. I wonder how much the Bat-Embargo will be enforced when JLU goes off. When Joker and Penguin debut in '08, will The Batman be allowed to use those two anymore. Maybe that is why we have gotten so many episodes featuring these two.
