I'd just like a brand new theme. With another theme background music by Edge.

I like to talk about Batgirl's position in Season 4. I hope she is done more well than in Season 3. I liked her, don't get me wrong. But many don't for the simple reason that she was annoying. But while during the season she got she got less annoying, and she proved her worth, but they still dont like her.
But what they say, I feel too but to a point. I mean its like she's just there.
She did do stuff that she was meant to do for her character and when Batman has to catch the bad guy and the victim is saved by Batgirl, its was like "good thing she was here". But at the same time, which I hope will happen with Robin in the scene, is that she learns (she did find out Bruce was Batman) that there is a very good reason why Batman and Robin exist and the connection that they have is something in which Batgirl doesn't have and doesn't want.
Its like someone would have to go to her, which I heavily doubt unless they were cold heart, and say "if you want to be like us and understand us, your father would have to die a horrible, horrible death". And thats, obiviously, not gonna happen
I hope she learns that because in the DCU, she is 100% accept Oracle now or not because Batman accepted her (25%) she understands why Batman is there to begin with (25%), and she has every good reason to be out there (25%) and is helpful (25%) thats where the 100% comes from.
But in TB; he has only half accepted her (25%), and she doesn't know why he's here (0%) her reason to be out there is shaky because her there is up in the air on what it is she's fighting (12.5%) but she is helpful (25%). Altogether thats 62.5 %. She needs more work done.
In season 3. I, liek many, felt she did have a purpose. And that will still be the case. But with Robin, she might get outshadowed and become pointless in the end. But if she stays because she learns and understands why there is a Batman and now a Robin to begin with, then that´d be good. But that would be the only way.
Please understand what I'm saying.

I think the reason why so many people thought she was annoying was because she was put in 9 out of 13 episodes (which isnt a lot) but those 9 episodes were put together instead of spread out so we got her week after week and then nothing! thats the reason why she got annoying!

I think it's because of her relationship as a sidekick was very weak. And the only time we felt her growing into the team was in Thunder. She is certainly not going to be in 9 episodes this season but we will get a new feel from her as she confronts jealousy into her heart, which I hope won't be just a dilemma carried out in one episode as a minor setback.

I didn't like Batgirl at first for a few reasons: 1. I was getting used to watching Batman solo again with the show and Begins, 2. She was annoying, and 3. She was put in before Robin. But now I've grown to accept her. But now I'm happy Robin's in the show and we now have the TRUE Dynamic Duo.
I know this is pretty obvious, but she'll understand everything in the future episode when she's Oracle.

aside from the reasons stated, i never really liked the new Batgirl cause i thought her costume sucked. i gradually came to accept her, however, i still don't like her that much.
can't wait for Season 4.

Meh. I've watched this show. Several times. I'm just still attached to the BTAS and I can't let go. I still have the DVDs, hell I have "Batman Beyond" S1. Plus, a new young Batman? I already have Batman Beyond for that. Even though they reinvented each and every character in the Bat-universe (although, throwing in Black Mask and Nightwing into the fray will probably make me like the show), I still can't stop to think "it's either this or your old crap, out with the old, in with the new". I don't like the new! I will not stand for it! Why does his chin have to be so damn pointy? He looks absolutely like a villain more so than Batman. And why "The Batman"? I feel weird everytime I say it! I guess this show is alot more hip then the others. I don't know about this though. I'm a true blue Batman fan, but I just can't seem to learn to let go of the old! Am I a hypocrite?

I agree with the chin thing, but if you have seen the new designs, he has a much less pointy chin at this point. And I am certain that the next season is going to be incredible. We should just be glad that we have two incredible Batman cartoons.

The sad thing is, these shows nowadays have five seasons tops. So if TB, which I believe it will, gets a fifth season, that will be it. And the fourth and fifth seasons, with half (maybe more) of season 1, the whole season 2, and some of season three, beign the best of the show than BTAS which was......all of the episodes.

I've thought about this too, and, while I don't think The Batman is a definitive portrayal of the character, I am very glad to have it on the air. Some of the designs are a bit questionable, but after watching TNBA this week on Boomerang, I think TB's designs are more drawn-out and complex. The writing could use a touch up here and there, but at the end of season 3, it looked like almost every glitch within the show was worked out.
The show evolves every season. Season 4 looks like it will be the epitome of cool.[/shadow]

And why "The Batman"? I feel weird everytime I say it! Well, they chose that title because that's exactly what he was referred to as in the early comics. they STILL call him that fairly often... hell, even in BTAS they refer to him as "the Batman" a few times here and there. originally, it was not meant to be his "name," but rather, a title for a creature he created. eventually people just started casually referring to him as "Batman" as if it were his name because most other superheroes are like that (Superman, Spider-man, etc.).

The title is one thing Ive never had any problem with. Its kinda funny, I often refered to the character as "The Batman" without even realizing it in the past until someone pointed it out.

[shadow=green,left,300] I think the title is a bit funny myself, I love those commercials where the villains just burst out and say 'The Batman' lol. I think Riddler is the one used to referring to the character as 'The Batman' quote, " Mind yourselves The Batman and his little helper are sure to be in a sour mood." Also, " Do you really think I went through all the trouble to distract Gotham PD from my real crime!? It was The Batman who concerned me, isn't that right Batman?" I like the title it sounds amusing to me But I can understand how sometimes it kinda sounds a bit funny. [/shadow]

I like the title. Since this show is about a young Bruce Wayne as the Batman, having a "the" in the title still makes Batman like an urban myth to some criminals.

A preview just appeard after the rerun 'Thunder', similar to The Batgirl teaser, just a short glimpse like we saw in the video. Where Batgirl exclaims "Who's the pixie?"

[shadow=green,left,300] I saw it too but I couldn't record it on time, Robin looks alot like Bruce. I think Batgirl and Robin may get along just fine Like The Dark Knight said pretty much the same thing Ruseri showed us. [/shadow]
