I'm pretty happy with the way he turned out. The suit design doesn't stray from anything we've seen before. Now I can't wait to see him in action (that is if I remember to get up early enough on Saturday mornings).

This is weird: here is the second pic and for some reason the Robin costume is different. Red sleeves instead of Green. Am i missing something here? Those sleeves are green in the second pic. You must be looking at the gloves, 'cause those sleeves are defintely red. i prefer the green sleeves as well.

Lol....You are right, i took sleeves as being the long part of the gloves.
That is the dork in me that i try so hard to hide.
Sorry. ;D

Ok guys so what do this mean that we have a robin with green sleeves? If you look on the first page of this thread, it shows an exclusice picture of Robin with The Batman, and his sleeves are green. We also found a second picture which indicated his sleeves are part of his shirt and are red. We don't know which is going to be the real Robin but Im hoping it's with the green sleeves.

Why do the kids have such big heads and small bodies? How can they even walk with those giant melons on their shoulders?

It's called a cartoon. animated shows have had strangely proportioned characters for years... ever since cartoons were created. why are you suddenly complaining about it now?

Large heads are wierd (not complaining BTW)! Green sleeves, red sleeves, who cares, this Robin looks like a nice addition and THANK GOD he's not that much of a clone of the one on the teen titans. Hopefuly he won't be too much of a smart a#@ with the same old, lame old, snappy come backs (my opinion only, of course).

On Robin's size compared to Batman: trying to picture him standing next to Batman is tricky but I figure he would be up by Bats' belt.
On his size compared to Batgirl: two things...
a) He will be shorter than her, but close to head level. (I imagine his head next to her neck).
b) And for you wondering how Robin and Batgirl can still fall in love, think "Batgirl: Year One".

I highly doubt if this Batgirl and Robin will be falling in love... first of all, it just doesn't fit. their age difference is too obvious at this point. they're both so young that, for right now, age matters. a 12-year-old going out with a 16-year-old? no. maybe in 8 years, when he's 20 and she's 24, but for this show, no, they will not be love interests.

You know they haven't really said what Robin's age will be yet. He could be 16 too.

I really like the look too! I am kind of bummed though Robin isn't carrying his staff. Oh well the costume and the look of the character are most important and they got it right!

Judging from the promotions that was released this week, this is what Batman may look like starting Season 4: And for fun, this is Robin added to the wallpaper of Batman and Batgirl: Thanks goes to Phil who did the images.

I love Phil's artwork!!! I loved his Robin design which I wanted to share with you all but didn't think he would appreciate but it was amazing! I did something similar with The Batman picture by putting it all black and squaring his chin, but I also made the Bat symbol on his chest not cover with yellow and made it to the ones used in TNBA and JL. I love his stuff though! Kudos to Phil (from BYTB?) You do mean him right?

I don't know if anyone has said it, but.... Robin reminds me of the boy from "The Incredibles" for some reason. Maybe it's small body and big head thing. But I dig the design, except, why doesn't he have any boots on? Can't wait to see more pics of him

Pics? I want to see the new episodes already. He does fit in well to The Batman's style. I think the just has green boots also. I'm more interested in how the writers are going to make Dick Grayson out to be. In BTAS he was already an older teenager in college. We never saw him actually as a youngster. I don't think they would have him as the Robin in TT. We never really saw Dick Grayson the person in that series.

The TT Robin was Dick.

But we saw NightWing! So it was tim in TT!! Not sure I follow? But if the TT Robin HAD a name other than Robin, it WAS Dick Grayson. But it doesnt matter. This The Batman Robin and The Batman show has nothing to do whatsoever with any previous show. And TT only has as much or as little (if anything) to do with the other previous shows as you personally desire. They did infuse TT with at least a loose bit of continuity to previous DCAU / Timm-Verse / BTAS Etc. shows as it went on. And if youre so inclined (as I have been) you can "make" those conection and continuity more rigid, fitting and "complete". It can work out sensibly. But it's ultimately individual interpretation. The common perception now would seem to be TT takes place in a paralel but alternate "Earth 2" sort of framework. But The Batman is entirely seperate and completely unrelated.

There are lots of little things in TT that point out that Robin is Dick Grayson. The biggest one I can think is in the episode of Haunted when they showed a memory of Dick's parents falling in the air at the circus event.
