Hey guys found a little write up on Season 4 and The Batman's Time Slot 11:30-12:00 THE BATMAN, 11:30 am-12:00 Noon: THE BATMAN features the most complex and intriguing character in comic book history in action-packed super heroic adventures, melding the renowned character's extraordinary physical prowess and super-sleuthing skills with a new range of experimental Bat-gadgets and an amped-up Batmobile. The series premiered in fall 2004 and picked up Batman's story in his mid-20s, when he's just finding his way as a protector, defender and Caped Crusader, while balancing his public persona as billionaire bachelor Bruce Wayne. In the upcoming third season, the Dark Knight continues his relentless quest to rid Gotham City of its supervillains, but he's not alone. Robin joins the team, and the fabled Dynamic Duo is also occasionally joined by Batgirl. Harley Quinn, Black Mask, Killer Moth, the Everywhere Man and a brand-new Clayface join the rogues' gallery of villains, led by the Joker, Penguin and Riddler, who ceaselessly torment Batman and Gotham City. THE BATMAN is based upon the DC Comics characters and is executive produced by Sander Schwartz and Alan Burnett for Warner Bros. Animation. Duane Capizzi and Mike Goguen serve as supervising producers, and Linda Steiner and Jeff Matsuda are producers. click here to read the press release

Black Mask? Wow! Season 4's gonna toughen up from what it seems. And they're bringing back Ethan (perhaps), which may mean Yin? Thank you for the great news Sands. I'm also looking forward to LoSH althought I didn't expect it to be humorous.

Perhaps he/she's a new villain to the Batman world. Whoever it is, it sounds really promising. So here's what we know about Season 4: -Robin joins the team (unidentified which one) -Harley makes her appearance -Riddler will return -Black Mask will be introduced -A new Clayface will be formed -Killer Moth will be introduced -Everywhere Man will be introduced Sounds like a bold season!

Or Boy Blunder as Riddler would say. [/shadow]

[shadow=purple,left,300]Wow! That lineup sounds fantastic! And I'm very pleased with the 11:30 am timeslot. Much more convenient for us kids who like to stay out late on a Friday night. Thanks for the info! [/shadow]

With Black Mask involved, thats gotta tell you they couldn't do him unless they changed something like their format. Same goes to Robin with his origin. It doesn't matter if its considered a kids show or not, for Robin you need to show his origin and the killing of his parents. And Black Mask, you need to show what he does and why he is scary.
You need drama.
I hope they also fix the problems people have with the show.

Since they're getting Black Mask on the show, could there be hope for Two-Face if there's a Season 5?
Also, what do you guys think they should do with Black Mask? Give him the wooden mask made from his father's casket, or his current look with the Black Skull head? I like the skull myself.

Robin's origin could be the classic one (with his parents dying). i mean, look at Bruce and Joker? they didn't change anything about them. Bruce's parents obviously died. and Joker fell into a vat of acid. I think Robin's origin will remain true to the comics. I'm really curious about this new Clayface... and i think it's awesome that they would add another one, since there are like 5 different Clayfaces in the comics. Sounds like this will be a killer season! One thing they didn't mention is the return of Yin. I REALLY hope she returns.

"Dark Knight continues his relentless quest to rid Gotham City of its supervillains, but he's not alone. Robin joins the team, and the fabled Dynamic Duo is also occasionally joined by Batgirl."
So does that mean it'll be more centralized around the 2 with Batgirl popping in here and there? I figured they'd concentrate on the 3 together.

It's been awhile since the real Dynamic Duo has been seen on an animated series. This is the way it should be: BATMAN AND ROBIN!

I like Batman but for me, its Batman and Robin.
Black Mask is one of the great new characters that have appeared in the Batman comics. He's been a major players lately in the comics, so its about time he's appeared in animated form.
So far, Season 4 sounds very promising.

Getting really psyched for the new eps next month and the new season. Love all the new villians getting introduced. Want to see how they handle Harley Quin. Really wondering about who the Everywhere man will be. (Me and my best friend has this joke about me being omniscient and him being omnipresent, I told him the name of the new villian and we had a good laugh.) To bad though we only have 2 new eps next month, then have to wait 3.5 months or more for the new season. DrGreenEvil

Is it possible the Everywhere Man might be a take on the Clock King from the Animated series in the fact that he can slow time and virtually appear anywhere in split seconds?

Well off the top of my head, the original Killer Moth only possessed some kind of special gun? He was later re-designed durring Underworld Unleashed and renamed "Charaxis"(sp) wherein he was transformed into a full on big moth-like monster. In this new form he has super strength and im not sure what else?

Though I was never brave enough to read up on what he was able to do with those antenai! Ahhh the "Golden Age" indeed

So does that mean it'll be more centralized around the 2 with Batgirl popping in here and there? I figured they'd concentrate on the 3 together. Well, for the writers I'd find it to be quite a challenge, seeing how the three would interact with one another with their same personalities. I'd fgure there would be struggles in between because of how each character was created.
