Another site has a poster saying theyve been found at KMart. I saw a Shadow Tek lights and sound Sword today at Target (new?). I will be getting a Robin for sure myself. Gotta say though, I really enjoyed and prefer the EXP packaging though. This design doesnt "do it for me"... seems akward and lacking IMO.

You know, our friend Frank Varela did the EXP packaging, which I really enjoyed..I think a new team worked on this Shadowtek line. It doesn't have the same....umph

It doesn't have the same....umph No it doesnt Seems odd to me to dramatically emphasize the "Shadow-Tek" concept/title over the Batman title/logo/art? I would think that would be selling point? Here it seems muted in comparison... not to mention greatly reduced in size next to previous TB packaging and other recognizable logos it'll be competing with in the toy isles? hmm

The figures look great but the packaging is, um.... lacking. It doesn't really scream The Batman to me. I think it's too dark & the color scheme doesn't really work.

Are these figures the same scale as all the previous The Batman figures? I thought I had heard a while back that they were going to be 8" figs. And I agree, the new packaging is dreadful.

I hope these hit stores soon, although I still can't find the wave with Metalhead in it. The packaging is awful on this Shadowtek series. I'm not too big on odd shaped card sizes (Superman Returns line is a fine example of this).

Hurm. Moth looks more purple than I remember him looking at SDCC, not crazy about this new color scheme.

Ohhh... Robin looks nice. I wish these toys had some articulation but this seems like yet another figure just for display

Whats up with Mattel's new "Inaction" figure lines? From JLU to The Batman, most new figures are simply made to be posed in one stance.
I think the JLU and The Batman figures would have been much more collector friendly if perhaps made with multiple points of articulation like the DCSH line. remember these toys are made for kids. Kids, dont like stiffness in toys, they want to put their action figures in cars and have them play in the playsets. The new Robin however cool looking, looks too stiff. They made some FLight Robin, that features 14 points of articulation, why didnt mattel make one, in his normal costume? Why didnt they make Batgirl, Catwoman or Poison Ivy more poseable. Catwoman is an acrobat, she flips and kicks and does all these wonderful things...the figure however, only twists at the waist and barely moves its arms. The same with the other female figures.
My suggestion. Release them all again and in their correct size and with multiple points. You will see how they fly off the shelves.

I picked these up today at a local pharmacy. Robin has a huge head while Batman's new sculpt looks like they crushed his head. Bruce is the same old sculpt. Robin - besides a huge head he only has 4 POA (Neck, shoulders, waist) But I will say this for it... it's a pretty cool sculpt. Killer Moth - is a squeeze toy (He shoots water out of his mouth) so he's soft. And becasue of it he only has shoulder articulation. Killer Croc & Citizen Wayne - are both just straight repaints Shadowrang Batman - Is pretty much same as the past figures except now his has a new head sculpt (More compact with a wider jaw/chin) There was also a Yellow & black Batman figure called X-Bow Batman (didn't like him at all) and a pretty cool looking blue and black Batman called Samurai Slash Batman (Kind of ElseWorldish) Robin w/ the Electronic Batman - PJ
