To be quite honest I would have preferred to have seen the latest Batman animations on the WB without Batgirl or Robin. I know that the two sidekicks are there to give the younger kids something to relate to and while I read Batman and Robin avidly as a kid I still prefer to see him do a solo.

I do agree I liked the solo episodes better than the ones with Batgirl, just seemed like Batman had the whole city of villains to himself. But with Robin, Im sure it can only get better

When Batman was starting to get back in the spotlight with this show and Begins, I was getting used to the Dark Knight going solo. But when Batgirl got on the show, I was getting annoyed. But she grew on me, though I still thought Robin should've been on first. But with Robin coming up pretty soon, I AM PSYCHED! ;D ;D

For those of you who prefer Batman to be solo, although I've never really seen this series beyond season one, I am quite confident that despite the addition of Batgirl and Robin, there will definitely be moments or maybe even full episodes of Batman being solo. After all, Dick Grayson is merely a kid at this point and I am definitely sure that Bruce will forbid Dick or Barbara to accompany him on certain jobs. I remember reading reprints in the Batman archives where Robin was not always allowed to go with his mentor. Personally, I am glad Robin is being included. I could never be interested in a Batman series where Robin would never exist. So his inclusion is actually starting to get me interested in this series, though I prefer the Timm verse animated series any day. As a fan of both Batman and Robin, I feel the need to have a balance of solo Dark Knight episodes along with a fair share of Dynamic Duo episodes. Cheers.

here's to hoping that kids wb doesn't do to this what they did to bruce timm during btas, wherein the show was renamed "the adventures of batman and robin" and robin was required to be in every episode

here's to hoping that kids wb doesn't do to this what they did to bruce timm during btas, wherein the show was renamed "the adventures of batman and robin" and robin was required to be in every episode They only did that because of Batman Forever. Since Robin was introduced in that, the WB had them make Robin in every episode since he was popular.
