complaining at the beginning of the series that the show was straying too far away from the history of Batman, you know who you are. Slowly but surely they have introduced all of the elements that have made up Batmans history. And is it possible because of that complaining that they introduced those elements? I'll tell you that I strayed away after the first few episodes of Season 1 and didn't give the show a second chance until this past fall, when those elements returned. So what you are saying is they never had a plan to introduce Gordon, Batgirl, Robin, other villians, etc.?... They said when the show started that Batman would be alone his first season, much like a year one for the series. He gained the respect of the police force and then finally that Bat family started to form around him. The JLA is now that extension of his family and I do believe this was planned and this is the way the producers wanted this version of his history to be explained.

Well Crazyhatter you make a verrry pursuasive and compelling arguement, and I had not looked at it from that perspective. I agree with you in the fact that the JLA is an important installment to Batman's history, but I do not want the show to go from the portraying of Batman's adventures in Gotham to soley dealing with the whole world's problems and lending aid to Superman, Green Lanturn and Flash... One thing that gets me really ticked at JLU is that they rarely had any original villains, they always had to bring in Joker or Lex... it really ticks me off when Joker isn't pulling something that much bigger then any previous plan and suddenly the whole damn JLA has to deal with it when Batman and Robin and Batgirl could easily deal with it.
Now, I not argue with the fact that bringing Superman into the Hush arch was pretty cool, I definatly don't mind when one hero needs the help of another, but I just don't want him in the JLA all the time, if I remember correctly Batman was in and out all the time.
Thanks for pointing that out to me Crazyhatter you're absolutely right JLA is an important part of Batman's history and I am willing to accept that. But I just don't want the show to focus on this for the rest of the season... that's why there's a LoSH out now.
But thank you, Crazyhatter, you've proved a valuable point.

They never brought in Batgirl or Robin in to the JLA. So I'm really looking forward to seeing how Batgirl and Robin handle working with the big league guys. Ahhh so excited.

Well seeing how they are younger then they were in BTAS this could go two ways, they either won't like the concept of being pushed aside and Batman ignoring them for "real" superheros, or their be constantly trying to impress these heros who are like Gods to them. I dunno, just a thought.

That is a good point. Batgirl all ready seems to be pushed off in certain incidents so think how she, and Robin, might feel with these others coming in. This will be interesting to see come to pass

But thank you, Crazyhatter, you've proved a valuable point. I see where you are coming from about using the villians. I for one have really gotten into the DC universe over the last few years. I really enjoy and find it special that all of the DC characters interact with one another, villians and heroes. I started out much as you did only reading Batman and only wanting to see Batman. But I gave books like Identity Crisis along with Infinite Crisis a chance that had all of DCU in it and I really loved the characters. Oh and I am glad I proved my point to you bud. Good day.

I wouldn't be surprised. Didn't they hint something like that at Comic-Con last year?

They mentioned a Teen Titan possible crossover, which back then seemed to just be to please the fan. If memory serves me, someone asked about a crossover and someone answered, "Do you want a TT crossover?"

It would seem that with all the all the DCU coming to the Batman, we should dub this the NDCAU (New DC Animated Universe).

We shall see how it all comes to past The more I see talked about the scope of Season 5 being, the more interested I'm becoming and the more impatient I am for it; heck, not even Season 4 is over yet ;D

I agree with the above comments. I want to see Superman, Lex, and Metallo. It is interesting that they are using Newbern and Brown from JLU to voice the same characters. But like aveyone else said, I want to see The Batman on The Batman, now if they want to do a spin-off series... go right ahead. I want to see new Batman villians as well.
