Anyone know if we will see Scarecrow or other Batman villains on The Batman next season? I know they couldn't use Scarecrow because of Batman Begins, but now that the movie has been released, can we expect to see him?

NO Scarecrow as of yet.
Look for more DC villains..some that you've seen on JLU already.
I know the list, but I can't share it publicly yet, sorry.

The Rouges Gallery has enough great characters in it to support itself, why bring in others? There's so many Batman villains I would like to see first.

For the most part you'll see a DC villain teamed up with a Batman villain. Don't go looking for Two Face. Not gonna happen. Sorry!

For a Batman show to last long term it needs to integrate other characters. I mean even back in the 90s. BTAS didn't do that amazing in the ratings. Spiderman usually beat it out. To me..thats pretty sad.

[glow=red,2,300]yeah I have to agree there, the spidey animted show is terrible to watch even then, the animation quality was way down, with it only improving slightly near the end, plus some of the storys and voice acting was terrible lol [/glow]

Well as long as the writing for the episode is solid as the Fourth Season I don't care how many villains they integrate.

Okay, okay. The Spidey show wasn't as good as Batman, but I mean losing to Spidey in general isn't that bad. You know, we're going to have to go through this again though with The Amazing Spider-Man coming next year.

But isn't both gonna be on the CW channel? So its a win-win situation this year?

You know, we're going to have to go through this again though with The Amazing Spider-Man coming next year. If both shows are going to be on the CW, then there should be no rivalry. However, if there is one, it will probably be short-lived, since I doubt The Batman has much life left in it after season five (I only say this since a lot of animated shows are lucky to be around after three or four seasons... so the likelihood of a season six, to me, seems very low).

the batman's fourth season wasnt good at all. This show has been going downhill since season two and if you ask me the dialogue and plots are getting campier and cheesier. Do we really need a fifth season to begin with cause it seems to me from a viewers standpoint that the writing team are running out of ideas and are picking the WORSt villains.

To each his own. For me, this fourth season of The Batman has been the first to offer some genuinly "good" and thoroughly enjoyable episodes.

But isn't both gonna be on the CW channel? So its a win-win situation this year? It's still a rivalry because both animated series of Bats and Spidey were on Fox at the same time. As for a season six, I hope there's one, but I can't really see it happening because all these DC shows always get cancelled after 5 seasons (Teen Titans, JLU, etc.)

You thought the first season was the best? Aside from the finale with Clayface, I found it to be the worst season. The writing was incredibly stiff, the new versions of the villains took me forever to get used to, and the voice acting was not very good. To each his own I guess.

I think they should just stick to the tried and true villians. Harley Quinn was an one off character that was introduced in BTAS. She served a purpose. She is now in the Batman lore.
You can argue that they can create new characters to serve this purpose, but it is extremely slim that they will gain the reputation that the classic villains Joker and Two-Face have. The new characters usually just fade away into obscurity and are blemishes.

I rather enjoy whenever there are new villains. Before I started watching TB, there was a weakly "Who's that villain?" thing. Most of them were really easy for me even though I had never watched it. And then they had Cluemaster and I was speechless. There was a Batman villain I did not know about. Mind you, Cluemaster is not as new character, but he was to me.
I think new villains is how we get innovation with Batman and his psyche. Sure, most of them do not appear in any capacity besides the show specific medium (anyone seen Bob the Goon or Max Shreck in the comics?). But we did get Harley, Lock-Up, and Baby Doll. If they would expand on this Temblor character, maybe he would be introduced into the mainstream comics as well.
My point is that it is great to introduce new original villains into the show. But if you are going to do so, you need to give them a unique personality and backstory.
