Really good day for comics. Can't wait to see the Nightwing or the Gotham Central. It's about time they brought back Harvey Bullock.

[glow=purple,2,300]Wait. He left? When? Why?[/glow] Bullock left a little after the Officer Down storyline. He doesn't actually appear in this issue of Gotham Central, but he will be in the next one. I don''t think that I have seen him in the comics since around 2001.

I finished reading all the bat-comics, so I thought I would chime in with a little review of each.
Batman 627: Good issue, this story is what should have followed up Hush instead of the Broken City. What I think that I like most about this story is that we finally get to see Penguin doing something criminal. He has been just an informant for too long. There is even a really cool scene where Penguin sets the record straight with Scarecrow as to who is in charge. This is the Penguin that should be in the comics.
Legends of the Dark Knight 179: It's a good thing this was a stand alone. It was an origin of two forgettable characters from a bad story. I wouldn't pick this up unless you liked Broken City or you are like me and just buy all the issues of this title.
Gotham Central 19: This was a really good issue. Possibly the best issue of this series. It not only brought back a villian that I don't think we've seen since No Man's Land, but it just read like a good mystery story. I haven't really been able to get into the crime dramas that are on TV, but this series has been great. If you aren't getting it you should give a few issues a try.
Nightwing 93: This could possibly be the best comic I read this month, and I read about thirty titles a month. All of the events of Nightwing's recent life are brought to a head, with the final confrontation of Blockbuster and Nightwing. The end left me speechless. That's as far as I really want to go regarding the issue, but things won't be the same again. If you are even a casual comic reader you must pick this issue up.

I can not wait until Gotham Knights comes out. If you only read one core bat-book a month that has to be it.
Also is anyone else amused by the Batman Adventures description. The Grey Ghost returns, and is missing. Just seemed odd.

[/shadow] [glow=purple,2,300]I have to admit, it's pretty amazing that DC is finally pining down the Joker's origin. And they're doing it with none of their "superstars" attached; like Jim Lee, Geoff Johns, Jeph Lobe, (hell even...) Alan Moore. So I personally would keep an eye on these issues, they could be worth something. (Even though most of us don't buy comics for their future value...but y'know, as an added bonus). [/glow]

Well I got Batman 628 today, and it was amazing! I loved the fight Batman had with Scarebeast, what a cliffhanger! I didn't want it to end, I wanted to find out how Batman is going to get out of the little predicament he got himself into. And it was very interesting to learn that Scarecrow isn't behind the creation of Scarebeast.
