You know whats funny..I had the choice of a Turner or Jim Lee cover on Batman/Superman #10 this month...and I chose Turner! His style is really growing on me.
When is this due to be released?? [/shadow]

If it hadn't been for that, I would have picked up the Turner cover too.

[shadow=green,left,300] When is this due to be released?? [/shadow] [glow=purple,2,300]Okay, for those of you -like me- who were wondering just "what the heck is Comic Box Annual" it's a comic news magazine (similar to Wizard) that is released in France. But I'm sure that doesn't mean you can't order it from somewhere. Anyway, that cover -from what I understand- is an exclusive cover that Turner did for the mag and won't be released on any particular issue of S/B or Batman. Oh and BTW, that first image is not the real cover; this is it: And here is a link to a site that sells the mag: www.ruppsworld.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=1871[/glow]

[shadow=green,left,300]Thanks for the info PPAIN. I figured I would've noticed something that wicked on the soliciatations lists! I am miffed about it not being available in the USA, though! I'm happy for any of our French members, though! ;D[/shadow]

Would your store let you take only one or did you only want one? I just bought both. They don't do the stupid multiple covers that much anymore where occasionally getting an extra copy ends up costing you double what you normally spend. I remember Jim Lee's X-Men 1 in 1991 has 4 or 5 covers before the released issue 2. I like Turner, but I like Jim Lee interiors better than Turner's. Turner's better at covers.

If I looked at the picture quick, I'd think it was Tim Sale. He's more stylized and usually not colored and shaded with so mcuh computer graphics and lighting effects, but the spikes on Batman's gauntlets, the ear length, and the genral proportions and layout of that pic are very Sale-like.

Would your store let you take only one or did you only want one? I liked both - I only have limited funds available, so I was only able to purchase the one I liked more. I decided the Lee cover with everyone in battle mode would be a better cover. That said, I really like Turner's art - I'm looking forward to the next issue with Darkseid!!

Varient covers are coming back in a big (and somewhat scary) way; I mean sheesh, it's like I back in the 3rd grade dealing with all the RobinIII : Joker's Wild covers (hologram, non-hologram, Joker cover, Robin cover... ).
