I'm not really a person who likes comics but i've read hush and batman year 1 and that's given me an interest to read other batman stories that are in trade paperback form...so wat are some good batman trade paperbacks?

[glow=purple,2,300]That's an easy one Night. If I was you, I would check out Batman: The Long Holloween , Batman: Dark Victory , Batman: Haunted Knight , Batman: The Last Arkham , Batman: The Killing Joke , and of course (the staple of every Batman fan's collection) Batman: The Dark Knight Returns [/glow]

Those are some good choices, Ppain.
I would add:
Greatest Batman Stories Ever Told (good overview of Batman history)
Greatest Joker Stories Ever Told (basically the sequel to the greatest batman stories)
JLA: New World Order (not specifically Batman, but he plays a big role)
Batman: Strange Apparitions (some of the issues are in the Greatest Batman and Greatest Joker Stories ever told, it is good to have all the issues together though)

If you want to see Batman be the ultimate bad@$$ this is the book! I mean, he was taking white Martians down left, right, and down the middle! Hell, it was so good, I bought a piece of the original artwork! [/glow]

I also prefer TPB's to Comics so I'll have to check out some of those mentioned that I dont have.
My fav JLA book is "Tower Of Babel", it has Alot to do with Batman and Ra's Al Ghul.

If you like Ra's, "Birth of the Demon" Might as well get the rest of the trilogy. Bride of Demon and Son of Demon I haven't read them, but I have heard they are really good.

I also reccomend No Man's Land, it can be found in either 5 TPB's or one regular novel. This story is a great read.

heh I alwayz that graphic novels and tpbs were the same thing I believe TPB's are the individual comics of one story bound into one or more books and the Graphic Novels are are just one big book that is not available in the comics.

I believe TPB's are the individual comics of one story bound into one or more books and the Graphic Novels are are just one big book that is not available in the comics. That sounds about right. I tend to use them interchangeably. Since so many stories are reprinted anymore it is hard to tell the difference.
