Ever since Blockbuster was killed two or three issues ago, what is the point with Tarantula? This small arc really seems like filler before they get to the crossover. Does anyone agree with me on that? Leading up to Blockbuster's death, the issues of Nightwing were the best of the entire run but now I'm a little disappointed in the last few issues. Plus what are they going to do for issue 100? I hope it's not related to the crossover.

The last issue of War Games is Batman 633 slated to be released on October 27th. That's three months away so Nightwing 100 should be out in December. I agree that the issues after Blockbuster's death weren't the best. I guess this is the calm breather between stories. If you believe the hype War Games will be even harder on the characters. I am glad that the Tarantula thing is over for a little bit. I have never been that big a fan of her character.

Other than a big gang war going on in Gotham, does anyone know any other plot points for War Games?
And please, please, please I hope they get rid of Tarantula. I really can't stand her.

The issues leading up to the whole Blockbuster death thing really gave those original Chuck Dixon stories a run for their money. But after that, it seems like the writing has gone down...far down. And Tarantula is really starting to get on my last nerve. Hopefully, the writing will come out of this slump, 'cause Nightwing is one of my favorite books.[/glow]

Hopefully Gang War or whatever its called will be better than this Tarantula story. In a way, I think Devin Grayson blew her load on Blockbuster's death. I figured they would have wanted to wait until issue 100.
