I just finished reading issue # 15 which i really enjoyed. Although at the risk of sounding silly i save the issues i truely want to savor for sunday mornings when i can sit quietly and enjoy them while my wife is still asleep. Batman Adventures # 15 was an incredible story which flowed beautifully from page to page. The story of Victor Fries is a tragic one and writer Jason Hall conveyed it in a way that got me to actually feel for both Victor and Nora. I dont want to give away too much to the folks who havent had the pleasure of reading it yet but lets just say that jealousy is a powerful emotion just as Batman stated on the last page. I actually felt for Nora as she longed to be with her husband ( Mr Freeze ) despite some of the bad things he has done which is a rare thing indeed as it is extremely hard for a writer to get his readers to care about the characters but the talent of a good writer will do just that. Lately Batman Adventures has been an excellent read and despite what the misinformed say todays comicbooks are a far cry from the early 90's where acetate covers with no content were all the rage. If you like Batman ( and i know you do ) then Batman Adventures is one you cant pass on. I look forward to hearing your thoughts and opinions.

[glow=blue,2,300]I'm guessing I'm the rare person who didn't really like it... meh well. *awaits #16*[/glow] [glow=red,2,300]Finally picked up Batman Adventure's #15 "Cold Hearted" Didn't like it so much... a little drawn out, but then again I'm not one to enjoy love stories and all Plus, Nora looked like a thirteen year old, and that kinda bothered me...heh.. But then it suddenly struck me that BA was coming to an end, so I was greatful for this comic regardless.[/glow]

[shadow=green,left,300]I didn't notice this post until now Robert.
I do the same as you with certain comics. I set a special time that I can look forward to and read them...as silly as it sounds, it really enriches the experience for me.
Onto this issue...I really enjoyed it. I almost hated it, until the final pages. I'm a romatic from way back, so I really wanted Nora and Victor to be together in the end. I think that BTAS in general really re-vitalized this character as an anti-hero more than a villian. You really feel for him.
All in all, another great example of why its such a tragedy that Batman Adventures is being cancelled.[/shadow]
