I just picked up Batman the Scottish conection.Its not the best comic in the world but it seems that batman has scottish ancestors.I am from Edinburgh, Scotland and found it really strange seeing places in scotland, in a batman comic.Has anyone else seen places they know made famous in a comic?.

There was an issue of Shadowman (the first series from Valiant) that took place here in Nebraska. Bob Hall - the artist on that series, lives in Lincoln, so when the Shadowman character went on a cross country trip, it was only natural that Lincoln and Nebraska be included.
Carhenge - Nebraska's version of Stonehenge - is also shown in that issue by the way. ;D
