It would make Tim a better character as he could relate to Batman more and also not have him as an obstruction. But so far the victims are spouses of the satellite era JLA. But they do seem to be featuring him for some reason. He's just not connected to that group at all as Batman wasn't a member at the time either.
So Iris West and Carol Ferris seem more in trouble. Black Canary/Green Arrow and Hawkman/Hawkgirl probably don't have to worry as they're heroes and heroine's in there own right and powered. Zatanna has no one else I know of. Atom's wife and EM's wife were killed.

[glow=purple,2,300]Yeah, see, that's been my problem. If the focus of IDC is more on teir two characters, then why have in every issue something about Tim and Jack Drake. I don't know. But like you said, Carol and Iris would seem the most likley.[/glow]

It would be interesting if Jack Drake was killed off.
It would give Tim a better cause to be Robin. Also possibly make him a darker character.

I'll be suprised if Mr Drake is killed off. I think we'll be seeing more of him in the future.

you know, I'd actually LOVE it...here's why...
**Tim just became Robin again, against his fathers wishes...imagine the guilt TIM would feel if his father dies either in ID, because he wasn't there to help him!...it would bring Tim a guilt riddled depth that we could perhaps respect a bit more

Killing off Tim's father would definitely result in a much darker Tim Drake which would have big repercussions in Teen Titans as well as the Bat-books. I don't think that it will happen in Identity Crisis, but something in War Games or post-War Games could happen

ID Crisis is post War Games actually I believe. So, we might just see him be the next to go in IDC #5. There is lots of speculation on the 'whited out' figure on the cover of issue 5. Some theories I've read have the mystery figure being Superman holding Lois. I don't think that Lois will be killed. I think that's a red herring. Perry or Jimmy are potential targets though from the Superman family. I still think the figure is Tim and he's holding his dad. Really, IDC has been a good mystery. Other than the death of Sue and the revelation of the "mind wipes" there really hasn't been much to change the DC world. I'm waiting for the death of a major character. Either that or a hero to be revealed as the killer. |
