While Wizard seems to only want to make a big deal about Wolverine's 30th Anniversary (I really really am developing a hatred for Wolverine and have started dropping some comics with him in it because of Wizard and Marvel's insitance that he should be in EVERYTHING) this year also marks the 20th Anniversary of Dick tossing aside his childhood clothes and taking up the name of Nightwing.
It was 20 years ago Jericho debuted, Terra turned, Deathstroke almost won, and Dick walked downstairs and proclaimed himself Nightwing!
Just wanted to let everyone know!

wOw 20 years. What a huge accomplishment for Richard Grayson as Nightwing. Here's to 20 more....
I agree with the wolverine statement, he seems to be everywhere, and not to burst your bubble anymore, I just read on on Superhero Hype that Wolverine will be getting his own spin off movie, starring Hugh Jackman!

No reason to bump this up, but thank GOD they ditched that HIDEOUS original Disco-era outfit! Or as TV's Dick Grayson would say (Did Comics Robin EVER use this expression) "Holy Carbon Dating on those threads Nightwing!"  |

On the anniversaryishness of when the first Nightwing came out my wife and I read the whole Judas Contract story marking the 20th anniversary! I read somewhere when that issue was published (it coulda been wrong, and I forget now) and we enjoyed some origins then.

Well,20 years as Nightwing damn.BTW: ya know everytime I point out to non-comic reading folks that it was Jason who died they are shocked when I tell them that Dick became Nightwing. ;D

To me, this should never have happened. Bruce Wayne-Dick Grayson team-up was the essential of what partners should be. Just because of disagreements, they had to split it up, it wasn't right. I could think of thousands of ways this team-up could last though 2020 and Dick could be Batman, but instead, egos got in the way. I could picture Dick going for politics in the DC UNIVERSE, but it didn't happen this time. But I'm happy for Dick. Happy anniversary Nightwing. I still hope you and Batman can still work as a team.  |

I've been a fan of Nightwing for many years and I can honestly say that I've stuck by him for the last 10 years or so. You guys are right cause it doesnt feel like 20 years has gone by already.

I can still remember the first time i saw that Teen Titans issue when he walks in as Nightwing for the first time. I thought the disco suit looked cool then, actually i still like it.  Damn i feel old now.  |

I'v all ways liked nightwing even though didnt know about him not being robin untill the new animated series( I didnt pay too much attention to the comics a couple years ago) any way happy b-day nightwing YOU ROCK!!! ;D
