Collected Issues of the Dark Knight has now been updated with a huge quantity of large images from the Batman comic covers. I now have from issue 188 to today all with large size coverscans in pretty good or great quality. Recently I came into possession of almost every Batman comic from 1 to 600 with only about 30 missing - all scanned onto DVD's, so I'll be adding more details to the database as I read through them. It's been quite a good execise, so far I've discovered the origins of Nocturna and actually read the Black Mask original issues. So the database is likely to grow as I write up some new findings. For those not familiar drop by to: www.rasalghul.co.ukThe Internets Number 1 Batman comics database.

That's fantastic!! If anyone isn't using CIOTDK as their source for Batman comic info, this should change their mind!! Congrats!

Handy site, and I love visiting! Nightwiong needs updated a little though...he's appeared in every issue of his comic and a lot of NTT comics! I know he's appeared in every issue of his comic, but I tend to try to focus on what I consider "key" appearances rather than every appearance. Otherwise I'd have to list Batman in almost everything, and Robin and... etc. Then I think their relevance would be diminished. NTT? Ninja Teenage Turtles ?? It is great having a wealth of issues to draw from but just where do I start ?!!

NTT=New Teen Titans! Sorry. I am just desperately searching for a full Nightwing appearance guide! I've not really been a fan of the Titans. I guess it goes along with me keeping aliens, superpowers and magic out of my own personal Batman universe. I always consider any appearance of anything mystical or superpowered an "Elseworlds" type deal and never fits in with my perception of continuity. The Titans just falls into that category and for that reason I don't have a personal interest - which is why they aren't in the database. Not to say that if some kind soul provides the data I wouldn't list them - just that I have no access to it. Of course I do like reading magical/superpowered comics. I read Spawn and the Darkness but keep them very separate from Batman.

If someoen were to take the time and provide you info, can you post a form of what you would like filled out for each ISH of titles?? I used to have a form on the site where data could be submitted for inclusion but it really never got used, so I abandoned it. Not to blow my own trumpet too loudly but data in pretty much any format, as long as it's consistent is something I've a knack for. I can hack data spearated with tags, commas, consistent lengths and formats or even by regular expression. However, given the choice an Access table followed by Excel sheet then CSV file with data in columns is preferrable. Did you have a particular interest for feeding me with info? All input welcomed and creditted. If so I'll provide sample tables, sheets or text files for the data. If the data already exists in any electronic format regardless of how messy - I'll convert it, format it and represent it. The effort involved in reformating is generally negligable compared to the value of data. ALL WILL BE ASSIMILATED
