I just finished reading the rest of war games today and it was unbeleivable. I really enjoyed the whole storyline. I think the bat books storylines are getting better and better. I don't want to reveal anything unless some people haven't read the conclussion. All i can say is that I thought it was a great read. Whats everyone elses thoughts on war games?

Awesome! And this one DOES change everything...as you can also see in this week's BoP and heavily in next week's Detective comics....which is a great read...they did well with issue 800.

i actually decided to sit out war games and go back to collecting bat-comics after it finished. however i did manage to keep track thru various summaries online, of all the issues invovled. it seems to take a while to really get going but by the end i thin they delivered a pretty good storyline. i look forward to the ramifacations which we'll encouter in the coming months in all the diff bat-comics.

I won't get to read the end for another week or so, but I do know what all went down.. I'm not sure how I feel about it to be honest. I still don't understand why the GCPD and the media was against Batman from the get-go...

[shadow=green,left,300]actually, I just finished it today and I've flip flopped on this series. I hate it.
....turned out to be pretty lame.
They cease to explain how Black Mask just waltzes in and becomes the big boss....so just cause he says he is it goes uncontested?! I doubt it!
the last issue had terrible writing. Very out of character behavior by bats.
overall I'm quite disappointed.[/shadow]

I haven't finished it yet missed my comic run last week...but as of now I think it was too forced of a story.

The Batbooks are all pretty bad now and I hated the story line, though was glad to see the Spoiler go.
These writers don't seem to get the Batman character, Black Mask's retunr from the dead is never explained or justified, these are THE dumbest criminal bosses ever. How many times will they go to big meetings set up anonymously to be ambushed? Why did Batman make Spoiler Robin in the first place? Her fate is is fault as he gave her access to the plan and encouraged her. Jason's wasn't really his fault.

I think it was great, but I agree with Matt's comment about Black Mask's takeover it could have been explained a bit more. And I still don't know if the skull face is a mask, or if it is Black Mask's real face!
