Sounds like a new sitcom on Fox. I'm talking about Azrael as Batman. How do you think these two would get along? They both have similar views of justice. I'm not saying that they would be friends. But would they have a similar adversarial relationship as Batman and Superman (Bruce/Clark), only more destructive? I don't think each onw would hunt the other down but a confrontation would ensue if one came onto the other's turf. But if they were both in neutral territory how would they react to each other?

well it all depends on what point in their lives we're talking about. if its Azrael right before he died and eradicator now, it would be hero vs. villain. but if you're referring to the brief time when eradicator was good and late azrael, i could see them working together. and if it was early azrael fresh in red and gold, and eradicator now, i think they'd tear each other to shreds.

Ooops. I didn't think of it on all those levels. How about Azrael when he took over as Batman and The Eradicator just after Superman died. I should have been more specific.

Is the Eradicator a villain right now? I've been reading Majestic and haven't gotten that impression. My understanding (just from that book mind you - last time I saw him was when he was in the Outsiders) was that he was after Majestic because he (Majestic) was percieved as a threat to the world. Since the Eradicator is trying to preserve the Earth, Majestic is a threat that he needs to remove. They're going to be duking it out in the next issue - I'm actually looking forward to that one!

I only know The Eradicator from his Reign Of The Supermen days, so what? He's back again now? And what's this Majestic? I must have missed this... Any info would be muchly appreciated, thanks. Severen.

Severen. Majestic is a Superman level hero from the Wildstorm universe. He took over for Superman during the recent Godfall storyline in which Superman disappeared from Metropolis. He has been stuck in the DC universe since then. (There is some speculation that DC is keeping him in their stable of characters on the off chance that the Siegel and Schuester children's most recent legal manuverings causes DC to lose the rights to Superman = but that's a different thread ) Majestic seems to have some memory issues, which are starting to clear up. The Eradicator ties in because he sees Majestic as a threat to the DC Universe so he's been pursuing Majestic thru the series. If anyone is interested in reading it, I don't want to spoil it by saying too much. I've been reading it since issue 1 (of 4) and I've enjoyed it so far. Here's a pic of the cover of issue 4. It has both Majestic and the Eradicator's current look. I've been reading the miniseries (I haven't read the last issue yet) and I've enjoyed it.

i think AZBATS and the ERADICATOR would get on quite well as long as the paranoia that had space rented in jean pauls ear when he was batman kept under control he probably would have thought eradicator was carlton lehah in disguise or something
