I'd have to go with Nightwing too. There's so much history between the two characters that there would be plenty for the writer/artist to work with.

Gotta go with Nightwing too. I was staring at those stickers that come with the Hotwheels 3 pack and it occured to me that there's a whole generation that grew up with the Tim Drake or Jason Todd Robins. Dick Grayson is still # 1 in my book.

Nightwing is his own man now...
Robin. Batman and Robin...it's the perfect dark & light combination!
Nightwing shouldn't be a sidekick...not after leaving that role....leading the Titans, leading the Outsiders....leading the freaking JLA.
Nightwing is my favorite hero...I even have a wedding ring to prove it....
but he's not a sidekick anymore!

But I also have a problem calling Robin a sidekick anymore as he's alot more than a sidekick. He's the leader of the Teen Titans also. If this poll was when Robin was just Robin and not part of other groups than I'd vote Robin. But as of right now all the choices given are all more than a sidekick. Pj |

I prefer Batman on his own but if I had to pick one character from that list it would be Nightwing.

other. no sidekick, more less a partner. if everyone leaves gotham, Catwoman is still going to be around in the east end. Batman/Catwoman teaming up more often wouldn't be a bad thing, but she's definetely not a sidekick.

I'm gonna agree with the JotaEse.
Nightwing is no sidekick, and he should stick to his own city and his own hero teams. He's a cool enough character on his own!
Robin is, and should be, the only side-kick of the Batman.
Batgirl kinda freaks me out. I think she would be more fun if she were evil in my opinion.
IMO: It would be cool if Batman and Robin, in a continuing story line, fought organized crime with detective work and undercover operations. The writers stay away from the "Howz aboutz, we blow up Gotham!" plot, but every once in awhile Joker or any of the other insane homicidal maniacs threaten a large portion of it.
That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it.

 id like nightwing even though hes no sidekick it would be a great partnership.....but catwoman? no no no shes not that good of a character anymore
