The only place you'll be able to feast your eyes on the gorgeous work of fan-favorite artist Frank Quitely for the next two years is in the pages of DC Comics! And things are sure to heat up in the coming year, as he's poised to follow up his spectacular work on VERTIGO'S THE SANDMAN: ENDLESS NIGHTS and WE3 by joining Grant Morrison for the mind-blowing ALL-STAR SUPERMAN!
"My relationship with DC has never been better," says Quitely. "First THE SANDMAN: ENDLESS NIGHTS, then WE3, and next twelve issues of ALL-STAR SUPERMAN with Grant Morrison! I couldn't be happier about being exclusive."
"Frank's an artist's artist and an editor's dream," says Karen Berger, VP — Executive Editor, VERTIGO. "His mastery of the form, his impeccable style and his sense of detail have made him one of the most acclaimed and popular comics illustrators working today. We couldn't be happier having him exclusively to ourselves, and very much look forward to seeing more of his incredible work."
"Frank is one of comics' truly exceptional talents, and he's been gone from the DCU too long," says Dan DiDio, VP — Executive Editor, DCU. "We couldn't think of a better project, or a better hero, or a better writer for him to work with than ALL-STAR SUPERMAN."

Great. Now if we can only get him to draw the human face without it looking like a bad Twilight Zone episode, he's be an A-level artist.

[glow=red,2,300]Ugh...I'm not a fan of Frank Quitley, but if they [DC] beat Marvel than it's great. Seriously though all the people in his drawings look deformed and bloated. All well, i'll keep an open mind...for now! Thanks reideen for the news![/glow]

Has anyone noticed anyone that is exclusive to either company is "fan-favorite". I must say a good deal of these people are not a favorite anything of mine.

Here's the cover to issue #1 The more I look at it, the more I actually like it. I like the new S also.

[shadow=green,left,300]VERY cool. His artwork is perfect for Supes...a bit softer and more playful. Innocent. A great match![/shadow]

I like what Matt said, it's happy and laid back.
