[shadow=green,left,300]Thanks for the link Blocko.
Yeah I saw these in ToyFare as well. Ivy, Joker and Scarecrow look good, but I'm really not crazy about his Clayface.[/shadow]

YES, I was waiting for these, I wanted to color them since I saw them in Wizard. Thanks for posting, Blocko.

imho i think the clayface design sucks (and i am a huge Ross fan). it would have been better if he had modified the parasite design for the clayface. his clayface just looks wrong for some reason

[shadow=Navy,left,300] I love Ross art! Ivy looks so hot. Also I really like Riddler, Joker and Scarecrow. Clayface looks kida stupid.
Would like to see his whole charakter studies with head shots and so, like in the Cheetah drawing...

I'm definitely digging that Riddler.
I may even replace the Wiggum Riddler in my avatar with it.

Personally, I'm partial to the Toyman design.

The most interesting thing about these of course is that this is what the upcoming Alex Ross DC Direct figure line is being based on. I was really hoping for the classic Alex Ross Joker in his tux version, but oh well. I do like this new Alex Ross Joker design quite a bit all the same though.
As for the rest of the new Ross designs, with an eye towards the upcoming figure versions:
Sinestro is okay, but I don't see the need for another figure of him based on that design as not much has changed from previously released figures.
Scarecrow I actually really really like, his look is almost like a darker superfriends version. Very cool.
Toyman doesn't thrill me. Just too literal a take on his concept for my tastes.
Black Manta I really like, and is pretty much his classic look.
Riddler seems to be wearing a smock for some reason, a look which also doesn't thrill me. Merely okay for me at this point.
Cheetah, as I've said elsewhere before, I actually quite like, design wise. And already know that the figure version looks cool, at least based on the prototype shown already.
Solomon Grundy is a hell of a lot better than I expected, never thought I'd need another Grundy from DC Direct, but this take on him has a very George Romero zombie look, and I really, really like it.
Brainiac (not shown, but I've seen him elsewhere) is so so at best, and also seems to be wearing a smock, but given that he's also holding a 'wet' (recently removed) brain I guess there's at least some reason for it this time I guess...undecided at this time.
Poison Ivy is very "eve" like, kinda like it, especially the fact that she won't be green skinned. Should make an, um, interesting figure to say the least...
Lex is a bit odd...have to see how well or not it all works in context before I make up my mind on this one, but right now that outfit isn't thrilling me. Another wait and see for me.
Bizarro I'm still undecided on, but right now I'm more leaning towards the positive on his overall design. Either way I am definitely interested in (and supportive of) the direction Ross is taking the character. Whether it works or not however remains to be seen.
Parasite is quite interesting, so far I kinda like him.
Grodd at the moment I just don't feel the need given I already have the original Grodd figure (which was great by the way), though his design looks good, and suitably angry.
Clayface looks like the illegitimate lovechild of The Thing and The Blob, with a little bit of the X-Files Flukeman thrown in, and right now from what I've seen I don't much like this design at all. The clear low point of these updated designs for me thus far.
Black Adam seems to have a bit of a ming the merciless / green goblin thing going on, but he still looks pretty cool.
And finally Captain Cold (again not shown at this link, but he's been revealed elsewhere) is...well, he's certainly different, wearing a safari suit rather than his usual classic cold suit duds. Mind you as different as it is I do kinda like the look all the same though. And I already have classic Cap from DC Direct so that's cool.
As for the heroes:
Captain Marvel and Aquaman do their jobs well enough for my money, even if they don't blow me away.
Flash is solid I guess, but lacking a certain something that I can't quite put my finger on.
Green Lantern I really like the look of there. Really captures him for me. Top notch.
Batman I've always liked Ross' version of, and looks as good as ever.
Wonder Woman has usually been one of Ross' better female characters, and still works well with her look there.
And finally Superman actually looks to be a bit of an improvement on his past versions, just as long as he doesn't always have the glowy eyes thing going on.
I look forward to seeing the rest of the designs...
Severen.

remember, we probably won't be seeing a lot of Clayface as Clayface, he's the team's shapeshifter.
