RUMOR!! Highlight to read! Wally West is going to die in the upcoming Crisis. Waid will be writing The Flash post Crisis and Bart is The Flash. If that happens....I might just stop collecting comics altogether. Especially after recent events in that book. I'll be seriously pissed. Well, cant say I would stop collecting all together, but good Lord that Would be seriously $@&%*!# L A M E !

If it happens, it happens. At least Bruce won't be killed.

i can definetely see them doing that, there's logic to the theory, one dies each crisis to stop the crisis. but maybe they'll kill off Superman and have Earth-2 Superman take his place.

The latest report is......................... s p o i l e r It's Wally West who dies and Bart Allen takes his place. Still reports that Bruce will end up in Arkham and Dick will take his place, but I'm hoping this doesn't come about.

Yeah that particular spoiler has been out for a while, personally I think it would be pretty lame and I dont wanna put any faith into it. As for the Bat side of things, I wouldnt mind at all as long as its well done and not just an unec. "gimick". Worst case, we all know it wouldnt be permanant anyway so why not... its something Ive always wanted to see anyway (at least for more than a single panel or issue).

Actually, according to the latest LITG, (spoiler) Wally livesThat simple statement makes me nervous about the rest of the family though. Personally, I'm really interested in seeing how dealing with life as a father of two would impact him. It's something we haven't seen before and is a logical direction for the character to grow in. Hopefully DC has the balls to go thru with it and let the story run. Heh. I said let the story run. ;D

Whatever its related to or means, its cool! Very nice! I think its some kind of *nod to the old composite Superman/Batman? Be interesting to learn if it's something more "literal".

I said no speculation! ;D I figured someone might have caught the beginning of the debate over the artwork, so I thought I should put out the fire before it started. It was being discussed pretty hotly for a while over at Newsarama. Most people were guessing it was a cover for an upcoming Superman/Batman issue. Actually it's a piece that Art Adams did for fun between assignments. It was sold through his art agent (Fog City) on Ebay earlier this month for $1,624.99.

From this week's Crisis Councelling:
"Meanwhile, on Earth C, former Zoo Crew members Pig Iron, Rubber Duck and Yankee Poodle reunited to solve the death of Little Cheese...as the mysterious American Eagle hunted for Captain Carrot!"

I'm starting to feel sorry for him and I'm a bit concerned 'bout where he'll end up one year later.

His Dick Grayson question was excellent, I thought.
Anyway, I just finished reading it. Random thoughts:
-- I have no problem with Alexander Luthor and Superboy-Prime being the villains.
-- This was, I think, the most confusing of the first three issues. I don't read the other titles and didn't read the various miniseries but I kept abreast of general happenings through boards, Crisis Counseling, etc. The first two issues were easy to follow. Not this one.
-- So, what, Paradise Island and Atlantis are gone now? Not that I have a problem with that per se ...
-- That tower thing: Creepy. I noticed Lady Quark up there. I believe she "died" early in the first Crisis. So if you look, I think each character up there is from a different multiverse Earth. That's obviously significant.

Just a question:
Do you really need ALL the tie-ins to Infinite Crisis, or can you just get, like I planned, just OMAC, Crisis of Conscience, of course Identity Crisis?

Hi. I'm new here. I'm really enjoying this story so far but I just don't see any reason to change Flash again. Wally West is a good character and I think he is/was a great Flash. I feel that DC needs to stop fussing with their characters and just tell good stories with what they have. Don't get me wrong, Infinite Crisis is very entertaining and a compelling story. It's just frustrating when these big changes happen. I guess that what sells books though.

IC5 S P O I L E R S Earth 8? I'm not sure why this "revelation" was introduced or even needed. HERE'S an interesting discussion thread. I'm not sure where DC is going with this. Why is it necessary that Kyle, Steel and Super Boy be pre COIE heroes on another earth whose history was then amalgamated into the post Crisis continuity. Thoughts?

I don't know which cover I would get. I am interested in reading the conclusion of IC. One year later has left a bunch of questions.
I do like seeing how Batman has comes to terms with his role and he has actually grown from this experience. It looks like he's back to being a super hero again. He's also realizing that he has friends and colleagues.
