Issue #5 came out today (finally, since it's been about a year or so since the last one to my understanding) and it wasn't all that bad. *minor spoilers follow*
The Justice League is just starting off, and the way Batman is portrayed as a monster, I think I know where they're going with this. I hope the next issue doesn't take too long to come out and I hope to see some more of Robin in a comic called All Star Batan and Robin the boy wonder.

I picked it up Wednessday when it came out. I was incredibly satisfied with Jim's art, & Franks writing but it was way too short. I don't think it was worth that uber long wait. I loved how he does the JLA though, Wonder Woman & Superman have real dynamics.

After reading the first four issues back to back some months ago, it seems that every issue is short except for the first one. The story just seems to be moving slowly, but I've enjoyed the art and writing as well every issue so I can't complain too much. But from what seems to being setup, I can't wait for future issues...just as long as they don't take a year or so to come out; then the story will seem to go very slow

I got issue 6 today, and it's another great issue of the Goddamn Batman. I only had a couple problems:
1. Needed more Batgirl. 2. This is supposed to be Batman and Robin right? So where the hell is Robin?

Cool preview of #7. #6 is finally out (cover could be better)! (I noticed the avatar All Star!) I have a question: Why does it take so long for new issues of All Star Batman and Robin, the Boy Wonder to come out?

Cool preview of #7. #6 is finally out (cover could be better)! (I noticed the avatar All Star!) I have a question: Why does it take so long for new issues of All Star Batman and Robin, the Boy Wonder to come out? It really started years ago when they first started the title. Issues 1 and 2 came out on time, but starting with issue 3, it was starting to get delayed, only to come out 2 months later. Then it got worst. It would take 5 months for the next issue to come out, and that was the only issue that came out in all of 2006. Jim Lee said he was to blame since he was busy with other things as well, but not things are finally on track and the title looks to be coming out bimonthly now.

Here's the preview to issue 8, which appears to be the conclusion of the first storyline. That's right, after over 2 years, this story is going to end this November. And man, that cover is freaky? Any guesses on who that is? I got a good idea who. ALL STAR BATMAN AND ROBIN, THE BOY WONDER #8 Written by Frank Miller Art and cover by Jim Lee & Scott Williams Variant wraparound cover by Miller Part 1 of Frank Miller’s & Jim Lee’s two-fisted thrill ride ends here, yet it’s only just begun! The Dark Knight links a brutal psychopath to the Flying Grayson’s murder, and the streets of Gotham run red with terror! Dick Grayson is reborn to wage war on crime! The newly banded Justice League fans out, trying to catch a bat! Retailers please note: This issue will feature two covers that may be ordered separately. For every 10 copies of the Standard Edition (featuring a cover by Jim Lee & Scott Williams), retailers may order one Variant Edition (featuring a cover by Frank Miller). See the Previews Order Form for more information. On sale November 28 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US

Me thinks me knows exactly who that is & I'm completely geeking out right now. I wonder how exactly Frank explains u know who's reason for killing the Graysons.... but then again, he doesn't need a reason for anything.

OK, everybody knows I don't read the comics, and I don't know all the story arcs, who do we think it is?

i'm pretty sure, on a serious note, we think it's the Joker. but the way jim lee has been drawing alfred naked and strong-like, it could be him, too.

not just any torn shirt, sir, he appears to be holding the very cowl of the batman!

I noticed the scalloped edges, but didn't see anything else. Thanks for mentioning it, I finally realized, that it's his cape & cowl. There also seems to be someone hanging down from the top right corner. the dead Batman perhapse, or the Grayson's corpses?

i still don't see the corpses. i shall look again. but can i say something without everyone ramming me, here? i did not really care for the way jim lee drew the joker in hush. i thought issue 614 (joker's 1st appearance in the hush storyline where batman almost kills him) was outta this world, that was good, that issue got me back into batman and comics in general. but every other time he drew the joker, the joker looked so anime and japanese-styled and really sloppy, and not very good at all. (not that there's anything wrong with that, but the curled-up toes on his shoes! c'mon!)

As soon as I saw you all mentioning who it could be, I did see Joker suddenly and the cowl (I think I see the eye holes). As for the bodies, I just see what I'd say is smeared blood. With the introduction of Black Canary, the Justice League, Batgirl, and what looks like it might be the Joker, where the heck has Robin been for All Star Batman and Robin, the Boy Wonder?....wait, it looks like he'll be back in issue 7 ;D. I'm looking forward to when all these forces collide together!

^ He's neglected in a dark cave, hunting rats, wearing clown pajamas & saying "cool!" every time he gets more than 1 panel an issue I guess I would say 'cool' if I got a panel or two an issue too Although the story is taking a long time to get moving, I get excited with each new issue, and I'd agree with arkhaminmate's above statement
