Another great issue of All-Star Supes has been released, with another right around the corner(#5 on July 5). My thoughts: I love the throwback to Jimmy's wacky antics of the Silver Age, and I found much of the dialogue and references in this issue utterly hilarious. I love the idea of a crazy zillionaire engaging in all kinds of fantastic and bizarre experiments, and the downright silliness of some of the things mentioned(superheavy gravity, anyone?). Anyway, the black kryptonite making Superman his own opposite was intruiging, and loved the way the idea of the Doomsday character was adapted into the story in a way that was much more fun and that provided the solution to an evil Superman. This was a really fun issue, and I'm really looking forward to the next one, in which we are supposed to learn much more about Luthor's plans and his character in this tale.

I do reviews of all the All Star Superman issues. But there is no topic devoted to that title.

I didn't intend for this to be a review really, just what I thought about the issue. I just thought lots of things about it. Anyway, if you want to do a review of the issue, blinker, be my guest, there's certainly room in this town for both of our opinions, but I didn't see any existing All-Star Superman topics, so I had to make one.
