Bloomsbury has recently launched the BigBadRead, a search to find the favourite literary villain from a children’s book. As The Joker is one of the 40 selected villains All you need do is go to www.bigbadread.co.uk and click on the red VOTE button. There is still plenty of time to make sure that the winning villain is from your favourite book.

done, voted for the Clown Prince of Crime. however, there were several names which i found more menacing than the Jokers. they included Sauron and Dracula.

I voted Joker because that's who I would vote for on that list.
Still not exactly sure why Zaphod Beeblebrox is on that list though, how anyone can think he's a villian is beyond me, clearly they haven't read the books/heard the radio play/seen the BBC series/watched the movie/read the comics et al...

what realy makes me mad is that Lex Luthor did better than him. The Joker is much more menacing than Lex Luthor. I can Live with Ms. Coulter, Souron, and Voldemort beating him, but not lex luthor.
