Anarky 8 issue mini series

i read this mini series in recent history, within the past 6 months
wasnt too impressed, although it was kind of interesting to explore anarky
to hear that joker may be his father (although i've read that he isnt actually his father)
i thought this was just an 8 issue mini series but it turns out that it was gonna be more than that, and was just cancelled

somewhere on the page (although i cant find it now)
alan grant said something about how they made the joker anarky's father in that mini series ( and yes i do recall this)
but he said that a DC exec or what not told him that even if he wrote that as fact into his series that it would never hold in dc continuum and they'd re write it as being bs

not sure quite how i feel on that...dc has enough continuuity errors as i see it...
