ACK! My links didn't work! Be sure to visit www.corgi-usa.com and check batman pages 3 and 4 as well as the "2nd half 05 catalog" Haven't seen a report of this yet: Lots of new stuff at the Corgi website. Golden Aged Boxed Set, CATmobile, and "first" Batmobile.

Spotted the Golden age box set today for 24.99 at a mall toy store. Comes w/ the Blue version of the 40's and the newest 40's roadster... the coolest thing is it also comes with a scale Robin fig! not sure if Its worth the mullah though? They also had the 1:18th roadster. It is really tempting even at 30$. I wouldnt have expected to like it so much. The trunk opens and reveals all sorts of Bat-equipment and goodies. Contrary to the website, the 1:18th has no figure and the 1:43rd does lol

Has anyone seen the 1950's or the 1970's ones in stores? I keep looking, but I've yet to find either of them; I have the 40's and 2000 editions so far...

Does anyone know if Corgi is planning any bat-items for '06? I realize that they have done enough already (and planned for the rest of '05), but i don' t want them to stop. There is still plenty for them to make. Do you remember the Batman car that ran on the train tracks (I think during the Knightfall run)? And, I also think that Corgi should have enough Bat-clout by now to rangle the Barris batmobile out of ole George and remake the '66 TV Batmobile!!!!

The 50's and 70's have been out in my area for maybe a tad over a month? They are now quite common at most Walmarts here, along with the 60's V2 and a varried selection of the first couple waves. The 1:43 40's "roadster" seems to be the lessor stocked? (at least here) The others, such as the Golden / Silver Age sets, Robin cycle, and most of the larger scaled cars are available at more specialty / hobby stores. TRU's are WELL supplied in just the larger scaled first waves and the bat-cycle (either black or blue) and sporadic bits of first wave 1:43's. All that seems left are the 90's V2, Cat-car, Two-Face mobile, and the Bat-Submersible (which nobody else yet seems to recognize but me >:(lol ) all of which appear scheduled between now and October? If I recal a previous post correctly, Corgi only has the license officially till the end of this or next year? but have many desires and plans... such as a Killer Moth vehicle At any rate, heres hoping they retain the license and keep on cranking these little golden nuggets for a loooong time!

My experience has been that Walmart is getting the new models two at a time shipped with cases of the older models. The 50s and 70s showed up together followed recently by the Redbird and 60s version 2. I've yet to see a 40s Roadster or the Breyfogle 90s version at a WallyWorld. TRU in this area hasn't had anything new in 1:43 since the Jokermobiles and the only new stuff is the blue version 1:24 and the Black Batcycle so far. I wish they'd do another 4-pack.

Batlaw- I can't picture it anywhere but Ultimate Guide... You've been holding out for a while and no one seems to remember. If no one at LoG can comeup with it it's GOT to be something really obscure. How about a hint?

Alright, good call! I just took a look back at that after seeing the post. But was it ever in the comics? That seems to be the source for the rest of Corgi's line.

"The next wave of Batmobiles is coming out in February," Pearson continued. "There will be two 1:43 scale and one 1:24 scale cars. One of the 1:43 is the recent Teen Titans comic book version of the Batmobile that Robin and his friends went joyriding in and a 'turbo' Batmobile, which is just a really slick looking car. For April, I have another '60s Batmobile - a bigger car convertible and the Mothmobile that Killer Moth drove. Then, there's a lot more planned for next year. We have the license until 2007 and are hoping this will just be the first of many collaborations between ourselves and DC Comics. We'll keep making these cars as long as people want to buy them." I hope this must be the '60s convertible Batmobile The Mothmobile from the Killer Moth
