Dont recall hearing about this stuff? Interactive electronic kids learning / instructional aids from Oregon Sciences Inc. I stumbled upon the awesomely cool kids The Batman learning laptop at K-Mart (49.99?) last night and was/am tempted to by it for myself! Ive seen their Hotwheels version around for a while but this thing rocks! Their website shows some other items and states they aqcuired the The Batman and Batman Begins license some time ago? www.oregonscientific.comEDIT: The website should be correct now but its trublesome. For some great pics including pics of their The Batman "training / learning cuff"(gauntlet) try www.qvc.com (item #T22747)

Batlaw, Thank you for posting the information on the Oregon laptop and the website link. I checked out the website and thought that it looked great! Then this morining, at Target (Norfolk, VA), I saw the actual item. It is too expensive ($49.99), but it is also too cool. The box allows the laptop to open, and once it did I knew I had to have it!!
When you open it "wings" with buttons come out of the sides, music plays, the sreen lights up and goes into action, and to play at night, a white light shines down on the keybord to light the keys. I can't tell what all it does, but this is one neat toy. A must have. Thank you again Batlaw. ...Lucky.

Looks cool! Wonder if you could gut it and put in the insides of a regular laptop/notebook.
