[glow=red,2,300] DC are making a online game on pc and the new next gen consoles where you create a superhero and choose powers and stuff and you can meet ans interact with superman and batman
and get online friends and take on the joker and lex luthor and all the villains
Jim Lee and other artists have been working on it for the last seven mounths!!!

That sounds awesome. Let us hope that they get right what City of Heroes got right, and fix what City of Heroes was lacking.   I've never played City of Heroes (although I'm familiar with the premise). What elements do you want them to keep and what do you think should be fixed? |

City of Heroes had great character selection and design. Also the powers you could add to your character was cool but I thought they could have diversified them more as you progressed through the game.
I do wish the missions could have been a little more creative rather then meet someone who wants you to clean up an area of gangsters.

Yeah I agree with your points CrazyHatter I mean the game was a bit moody towards superhero look a likes!!And the way you had to earn capes was a bit of a bad idea!!but this game looks very good especially with the storylines and time periods you can enter and deal with every mounth!!

I hope that the creators will research the DCU and pull from its history and place it into the game. |

Answers!
1)No it will be relesed on the next-gen consoles( ;DXbox 360 ;D and ps3)
2)Next december ,maybe later! creators will pull storys from the dcu and new storylines!
3)No (but im not 100% sure)you can create characters to play in the world of the heros so if you work hard enough you will be able to Batman and other heroes!
(Im going to create a character based on a Bataman style)

I would suggest the PS3 for the next generation console war. Even though graphics are NOT the thing that makes a game or a piece of hardware, the PS3 is backed by the Cell graphics chip, the most advanced on the market & Sony is still trying to hold on to the Blue Ray technology, rather than traditional red which damages disks, which is used in the 360. & also you have to think about life span, & backwards compatability, the 360 is NOT fully backwards compatible with the XBOX, the 360 only plays last generation's games that are on the Platnum Hits list, basically all the overhyped & graphical powerhouse mindless shooters. The PS3 is fully backwards compatible including PS1 games as well, although the controller is rather odd looking it most likely hold better support for the hand. IE people with large hands hated the XBOX controller S & regular PS2 controllers are sometimes uncomfortable. Choose what you may, but these are the pros & cons of the PS3

The Halo franchise is one of Microsoft's top selling games. Halo has enabled Microsoft to garner a large fan base of stupid jocks who know nothing of the media, & only care about shooting something with a plasma rifle. Although Microsoft announced that Halo 3 will launch the day of the PS3 launch, it or Bungi has yet to reveal a single tidbit of information about the game. Halo is NOT the best game of all time, as 95% of it's idiotic fans say. & we all know that the launch will be much hyped. BUT... the pricing of the 360 is rediculously high, & only Bill Gates would think it cheap. He basically made a statement that he didn't have enough money & cheaped out by releasing the Core system, & the full 360. noone in there right mind would shell out $450 for the crappy one, & $500 somethin for a piece of machinary withought an empressive library of games. Sony is not trying to hype itself up, infact it only released pure scientific fact at it's press conference. On the other hand when Microsoft unvieled the 360@ E3 last year J. Allard said they WILL sell 5 million consoles in the U.S. alone. How many have they sold yet? Hm...? can you answer that? I can't either, but not even 2 million. Sony has a credibility standard it likes to keep up. It will not stoop to Microsoft's level & say that they're going to control the world. & millions aren't going to buy a 360 JUST to play Halo |

Ah but the ps3 will be £300 so thats roughly $600 ,thats more than the 360 !and the games wont be any cheaper! The next gen consoles and games will all be expensive ! they have to be micrisoft and sony are losing hundreds of pounds every time they make a console as the technology they are using is so powerful.! Plus the probem with sony is that they waist time making any game they come across ! I mean why bother making a updated version of pac man for the ps3 I mean sony got it so horribley wrong with the ps2 (I have one ) The online element which is one of the biggest gaming pheonomon out there! and whos the top Hmmm.... Yep that would be microsoft ,and the 360 has a better harddrive so more data can be stored Look lets just put this argument to rest now !!! lol Final word= Both the Ps3 and the 360 are and will be as good as each other considering what the gamer is looking for! I'm an Xbox man all the way, and I'm going to see if I can get a 360 for my birthday or christmas this year. I'd also try to get the WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw 2007 game too(it's going to be nice to have a decent wrestling game for Xbox).

Anyway I'm going to enter every competition to Win a PS3 !!!! I mean I severely doubt that Sony will release a game for their rival when its a Sony online entertainment!!!! No matter what the news says!!! But I still have severe doubts about PS3 online the specs and info ,don't look good,even my best friends cousin who works at Sony as a Programmer says they have a lot to do until they get anywhere near the 360!!!!! And I'm not lying! My mate had to sign a contract when he went to work for Sony for experience! Saying if he took anything or leaked ideas they would sue him!! And anyway I'm not to bothered about the game yet for all we know it could turn out like Matrix online  And that way I wouldn't mind!! ;D |

That type of contract is not unusual in the business world. Heck, I had to sign a similar document with LEGO (which I did willingly and would do so again in a heartbeat...) in order to go and participate in the LEGO comic summit last December. They're designed to keep the competition (in this case Microsoft) from gaining a competitive edge over Sony by getting information from the employees working on the project. That alone does not mean that the PS3 has lots of growing to do before it gets up to XBOX 360 standards. |

The way E3's shaping up it doesn't have far to go. Sony ditched the boomerang controller seen last year, & replaced it with a redesigned PS2 controller with slight motionsnsitivty. They so stole that from the Wii! The price was finally released as well,
$499 for the basic PS3
$599 for the hardcore gamers PS3
