Great game! I finally finished it (meaning I beat it and got all 32 collectibles). For those of you that are having trouble you can ask me for help. Later on I will post info about it such as gadgets, a full Dialogue, and much more! By the way there is a collectible in every stage (inbetween saves so if you didn't get one and it saves you missed one!) and once you get the first 16 you get the hard mode. Then you go through the game again and if you get all 16 again (in different spots) then you get a menu (you get to choose the level and stage you go into instead of going into it automatically).

I love this game... But I was extremely disappointed that you can't drive the Tumbler. Especially since one whole level is focused on getting to it.

Thug: Keep an eye out. Tat bat-freak could be...Anywhere... (Batman beats up thugs) Batman: Alfred? Can you hear me? Alfred: Quite clearly, sir. Please do be careful locating Dr. Crane. You'll need to enter the warehouse through the skylight. May I suggest using your Batarang? Press "R" to throw. Batman: Alfred we've got arson. Alfred: Perhaps it's best left to the fire department sir. Batman: Not until I find Dr.Crane. Alfred: May I suggest using your Bat Grapple? Press "Select" to switch your gadgets. Press "R" to use your current gadget. Dr. Crane: Batman. Batman: Dr. Crane. Dr. Crane: I'd kill for a look inside your head. Luckily I have my patients to do that for me. Batman: Why the mask Crane? Dr. Crane/Scarecrow: Your one to talk. But come closer and I'll show you why. Batman: The gas! It was the same...the same fear...that made me become...what I am. Batman

Monastery (Act II, Part I) Bruce Wayne: Years ago, my parents' death taught me there was no justice. So I travelled the world seeking a way to make my own. I found the League of Shadows led by Ra's Al Ghul... and Henri Ducard. Ducard: To master the fears of others you must first master your own. Are you ready to begin? Learn to use your enviroment and it can become your greatest ally. Ninja(s): Hold "down button" + "left button" or "right button" to perform a roll. Double tap "left button" or "right button" to run. Bruce: Impossible! How did you get here? Ducard: Respect and master you enviroment and you can become a wraith in men's mind. Ninja(s): You must prove you understand the basics if you wish to proceed. Press "R" to throw your Shuriken. Ducard: Do you still feel responsible for you parents death? Bruce: My anger outweighs my guilt. Ducard: Your anger will make you strong but you will need more than strength. It is time for you to learn more advanced techniques.

Part II, Act II (Monastery) Ra's Al Ghul: The ninja is thought capable of the impossible. But it is simply a matter of training. Ducard: I know you can fight as well as any man, Wayne. But here we will teach you to fight as the things that men fear. Attack from above, make your own advantage. Press "B" while in the air to perform an air kick. Ra's: Aim where your enemy is most vulnerable. Hold "down button" and press "B" to perform a crouch attack. Ducard: There is no such thing as "Too much force". Hold "up button" and press "B" to perform an uppercut. Endgame is rewarding, but it can be the most dangerous time of all. remember that. Access is restricted beyond this point. You must learn to proceed undetected. Invisibility is often simply a matter of patience and distraction. Press "B" while hanging from a pipe to attack from above. Ninja: You are silent as a baby rhino, and twice as clumsy. You must do better. The ninja must not be seen before he strikes. More practice Wayne! Part II, Act III (Monastery Ra's Al Ghul: You are ready. Here is your final test. This man is a murderer and a thief. Kill him. Bruce: No. That's not justice. I'm not a killer. Ra's: If you can't kill now, how will you destroy Gotham. Bruce: Destroy... Gotham? Ra's: Of course. Like this wretch, it is too far gone to be saved. Kill him, Wayne. Show me you know what is right. (Bruce sets Monastery on fire) Ra's: For the cost of one wretched life, you've sacrificed an entire city's justice. Bruce: The fire will destroy this ancient monastery in minutes. The guards are still on alert, but scattered... (goes through the monastery and finds Ducard) Bruce: Ducard... Ra's Al Ghul perished in the fire. Ducard I saved... But left behind. And then I came back to Gotham.

The Docks (Part III, Act I) Bruce: As a man, I can be beaten, I can be forgotten. But as a symbol, I can become incorruptible, elemental, terrifying. It's time my enemies shared my dread. Starting with one of Gotham's most notorious criminals... Carmine Falcone. Batman: I contacted Alfred back at Wayne Manor. Falcone has police protection. Alfred: No doubt corrupt, sir. Baatman: Either way, there are too many of them. I can't let them see me. Police man/men: He walked right into us, must be blind like a bat too! There he is! Now we've got him! Thug w/bat: I'm gonna crack your head open! Batman: Let's talk. What's got Falcone on edge? He brought an army for a simple cargo drop. Thug w/bat: I dunno, he's spooked. He doesn't trust anybody. His Consiglieri, his advisor, he'd know what's going on. Batman: What does this advisor fear? Thug w/bat: Small spaces. He's claustrophobic.

Part III, Act II (The Docks) Batman: The Consiglieri will know about the shipment. I need to find him. Alfred: Might his loyalty to Falcone keep him quiet? Batman: His fear will make him talk. Alfred: I've done a bit of eavesdropping, sir. It appears there's a gunman above you. Batman: Maybe I'll drop in on him. Gun Thug: Let's see if that suit is bulletproof. Consiglieri: Whatever you are, do your worst. I won't talk. I'm more afraid of Falcone than anything you could do to me. No! Please! Let me out! The walls...! Batman: You come out when you talk. Tell me about the shipment. Consiglieri: I don't know anything about that. Batman: Losing my patience. Consiglieri: Please, you don't know Falcone, he's horrible... Batman: You don't know me, and I'm worse. Consiglieri: Falcone splits the shipment! The crates marked with the white falcons go to his dealers. The rest go to a warehouse in the Narrows, to some doctor from Arkham Asylum. Batman: Where's Falcone now? Consiglieri: At a meeting on the roof of the warehouse on the other side of the docks.

Gotham City (Act IV, Part I) Batman: What was in Falcone's shipments? Where were they going? I need to find out. Police Sergeant Gordan's crooked partner, Flass... he's on Falcone's payroll. He'll know. Alfred: Falcone's arrest has made bedlam of Gotham Crime. Batman: But his club's still active Alfred: And still dangerous, sir. You'll find Flass inside. Black Thug: What's the pass phrase? Batman:... Black Thug: Buzz off buddy. Get lost moron. Go take a long walk off a short pier. Scram. Make yourself scarce. Alfred: Sir, Gordon's records warn that Falcone's club is thick with lethal traps and video cameras. Batman: Maybe those cameras can show me Flass, where are they? Alfred: The security station. Batman: I've reached Falcone's security station. I have visual on Flass, he's here. Black Thug: That snitch Pfister is inside Falcone's office. He knows too much. He won't know a thing once we're done with him. Thug: The Batman! You're real! Batman: Where's Flass? Thug: Don't hurt me, I'll talk. Flass is interrogating that psyco Zsasz. Batman: You turned snitch to Gordon. What's your info? Thug: Something was stolen from Wayne Enterprises. Some kind of weapon. That's all I know, I swear.

Act IV, Stage II (Gotham City) Alfred: You're nearing Flass' office now, sir. Flass: I know you're not stupid, Zsasz, just crazy. Zsasz: I've got a hunger for chitlins, piggy. Flass: You know Crane. Who's he working for? Zsasz: Someone a hell of a lot scarier than me. (Zsasz attacks Flass) Flass: Don't hurt me! Batman: Why would I? That's what Zsasz is for. Falcone's shipment. What was it? Flass: Some kind of chemical! Batman: Who did it go to? Flass: A doctor at Arkham Asylum! Dr. Jonathon Crane!

Act IV, Stage III (Gotham City) Batman: Falcone's chemicals went to the narrows. Flass said it was for a Dr. Crane... Alfred: The warehouse ahead is registered to one Dr. Crane of Arkham Asylum. You should be able to get in through the roof. Sir, this may be too great a force for even you. Batman: I can even the odds with Flash-Bangs... Take them down while they're sisoriented. Other Black Thug: I'm gonna wipe the floor with that cape! Zsasz: GRRRRR!!! (Batman gassed) (Batman jumps through window) Batman: Crane... Scarecrow... he gassed me with a weaponized hallucinogen. Alfred: I took the liberty of calling Lucius Fox when your condition worsened. Fox: And I synthesized an antidote. Felling better? Bruce: Much. But we're going to need more antidote. A lot more.

Arkham Asylum (Act V, Stage I) Batman: Assistant D.A. Rachel Dawes is inside Arkham Asylum trying to uncover Crane's secret. Crane: This is where we make the medicine, my dear. Perhaps you should try some. (Gasses Rachel) Batman: Crane has Rachel at Arkham. I have to get her out. How do I get to Crane? Alfred: There's a Dr. Emma Thomas being held captive. She should be able to help. Dr. Emma Thomas: What... are you? Batman: I'm here to help. Where's Crane? Dr. Emma: He's gone insane. He's down in the Hydrotherapy room. Batman: Stay put and wait for help. Dr. Emma: Stay here? Are you nuts? Great. I'm askind the vampire in tights if he's nuts.

Act V, Stage II (Arkham Asylum) Batman: Alfred, check the schematics for Arkham's hydrotherapy room. Alfred: It's behind the door ahead of you sir... but Crane has installed a security system. Batman: Then I'll have to uni-nstall it. Crane: Batman. He's back. Fascinating. Black Thug: What do we do? Crane: What any sane person would do. Call the police. Grab the girl, let's go. You're too late, Batman... A few minutes more and her mind will be tapioca. Put that lunatic out of his misery. Batman: Taste of your own medicine, doctor? Who are you working for? Crane: Ra's... Ra's Al Ghul. Batman: Ra's Al Ghul is dead, Crane! Who are you working for? Crane! Crane: Dr. Crane isn't here right now... if you'd like to leave a message... ?

Act V, Stage III (Arkham Asylum) Alfred: I'm afraid the police have arrived, sir. They've been authorized to use lethal force. Batman: Is Jim Gordon with them? Alfred: He is, sir. Batman: (to Gordon) Rachel's been poisoned. She doesn't have long. Gordon: How can I help? Batman: Get her downstairs. Take the fire escape. Gordon: They're locked to keep the loonies in. Batman: I'll pull the alarm. It will unlock the emergency exits. Gordon: Hurry. She looks bad. Policeman in plane: Stop! Stay where you are or we will open fire! Batman: I'll take her. She needs the antidote. Gordon: Take my car. Batman: I brought mine. Gordon: Yours?!

Wayne Manor (Act VI, Stage I) Bruce Wayne: Crane and Falcone were only puppets for Ra's Al Ghul. The man I knew as Ducard was just a mask. When I saved his life, I saved the life of... ... Ra's Al Ghul. Crane was working for you. Ra's Al Ghul: We provided the toxin, he weaponized it. Gotham is a cancer. It must be ripped away. Bruce: You'll destroy innocent lives. Ra's: Necessary sacrifices. Like your parents. Like you. Bruce: Alfred! Can you hear me? Are you alright? Alfred: I am, sir, but Lucius Fox is trapped in the fire. He had come with a message for you. Bruce: Wait for me in the Batcave. Fox doesn't have much time. Lucius! What are you doing here? Lucius Fox: Hiding from those maniacs in black pajamas. Bruce: I'll find a way to make you an exit. Fox: Hurry! The fire is growing. Bruce, I discovered what was stolen from Wayne Enterprises. A weapon. A microwave emitter. Bruce: Ra's Al Ghul could use that to vaporize the fear toxin... he could spread the toxin through all of Gotham! Fox: For the moment, you might want to focus on saving your own hide! Ra's: Wayne has been defeated. My fear toxin will be unleashed on Gotham. The world will watch in horror as its greatest city destroys itself. Gentlemen. It's time to spread the word. And the word is... panic.

Finale (Act VII, Stage I) Batman: They're taking the microwave emitter to the water mains by the monorail. The toxin will be atomized into the air. The whole city will be driven insane with fear. The narrows are already lost, but Gotham can be saved. Alfred: Sir, the narrowborough bridge is being lowered. Batman: The fear maddened mobs could spill into Gotham. I'll stop whoever's behind it. Alfred: Sir... the Batmobile. Batman: It's autodestruct is my failsafe. The monorail has to pass here on it's way to Gotham. I won't let you lower this bridge Crane. Scarecrow: Crane? Oh no... Scarecrow. Batman: I'm through playing games. Scarecrow: Life is a game. So yes, maybe you are through playing.

Act VII, Stage II (Finale) Alfred: The monorail is already in motion, sir. Batman: I can still get on board. Alfred: I fear it may be too late. Batman: I've still got my grapple. Ra's Al Ghul: Wayne. You took the idea of theatricality to heart. Batman: We both wear masks. Ra's: Yours is a lie. You hate Gotham as much as I do. But you're afraid to do what's necessary. Batman: Fear is my weapon. I once made the mistake of thinking Ra's Al Ghul was dead. But when men make themselves symbols, they shed their mortality. Henri Ducard, Jonathon Crane, they're already gone. Just like Bruce Wayne. He's only a mask, a cover for the face criminals now fear. All that's left... ... is Batman.

Walkthrough Prologue (Act I, Stage I) Walk (or run, but I suggest you walk because if you run, you are noisy and alert enemies of your presense. This makes them fight you earlier. If you walk and hit them before they notice you, you take more status/give more damage to them than if you used that move and they knew you were there [because you scare them, use fear as a weapon!]) right, you will encounter two thugs/enemies, defeat them by using your arsenal of moves and gadgets (listed in this thread) or be a coward and run away (you can do this and avoid a fight, but I suggest you fight because 1) it's practice, in some fights, you can't run and 2) it's fun, it's a game, it's no use if you skip everything!). Once you defeat the second, you should see a skylight (it has yellow glass) go through it by using a jump kick (jump by using "A" and press "B" when above the skylight), you can also throw a batarang and walk on it. Once you do one of these, you will fall through. Two thugs will be waiting to fight you, defeat them. Then walk right again. Jump over the boxes and walk right some more (fire should pop up and a guy should run away). Keep walking (right) and when you get to the bright orange flames (they are the only ones that can hurt you, the dark orange can't) jump up on the pipes above them (double jump) and move right (once the pipe ends you will fall off automatically), keep on walking right. When the wall falls through, change gadget to grapple gun (press "select button") then use it ("R"), you will be on a pipe, move right , when you reach the wood door, use your batarang, or one of your moves three times, it will break. Go right and you should reach a cord, Batman will slide down it. Once done sliding down, break down the next door, beat the thug (you have to), and the last window will open, press "up button". Walk right (be careful of the falling floor), jump on the ladder, go up, jump off at the top to the left, walk left, jump over the gap, jump on the second ladder, go up, jump off at right, jump on pipe, move right, when you go off at the end of the pipe, jump (to glide), once at the next building, beat the thug, go right, get on the ladder, go down, walk left, a thug will come out the door, beat him, slide down the pipe, when you reach the floor, beat the thug, go right through the door ("up button"). Finally you will reach a room, walk left (make sure the gas from the pipes don't hit you), and beat up the thug in the red jacket (he is the guy who ran, you need to beat him, it is hard! Use everything you have). Go throught the last door (once you beat the thug, it will open). Scarecrow should be there. Go to him. He will gas you. Congrats! This level is over, the game will automatically save.
