[glow=red,2,300] New info has been released for the next DC DTV after the teen titans DTV
check the writing team ;D [/glow] The series will be done in anime style(good for there will be more detail and a higher frame rate) BATMAN ANIME Targeted Audience: Dual: Core fans and tween boys Rating: PG-13 (anticipated) Release: 2-4 weeks in advance of The Dark Knight film release. Overview: Set in the period between BATMAN BEGINS and THE DARK KNIGHT, this brand new adventure follows BATMAN as he unravels a mystery over six original stories done in the style of Japanese Anime. Each of the six original stories has been written by a highly respected screenwriter or comic book creator. The talent includes Academy Award nominee Josh Olsen (The History of Violence), screenwriter of the Blade films and Batman Begins David Goyer, and famed comic book writer Brian Azzarello, among others. The Batman Anime DVD is viewed as a perfect companion piece to BATMAN BEGINS and THE DARK KNIGHT. The original stories introduce a number of classic characters from the DC Comics BATMAN universe as well as following up on characters and storylines that were introduced in BATMAN BEGINS. [glow=red,2,300] (is that scarecrow I spy in there hehe) also for everyone who wants to see less realistic villains this may possibly be the best bet. I hope we don't have these and then the 3rd film does them and therefore deletes the anime story from being canon.
also after this the next DTV will be a wonder woman origin story
[/glow] [glow=red,2,300] Im pretty looking forward to this how about you guys?especially about the writers that may be onboard[/glow]

Im really looking forward to this to. Although I cant stand anime, im really curious to see how this looks and turns out. IM a complete Batman mark though so ill get it no matter what.
Also looking forward to the Wonder Woman movie. But from the description of it on other sites, its basically an origin movie. Kinda weird how they are doing this and trying to get a Wonder Woman movie off the ground that will basically be the same thing.

This sounds very neat. Can't wait to see how they animate it. Me neither. Since this comes out a little before The Dark Knight it should hold us until TDK comes out.

Is that what it's called? Batman Anime? I think I'm going to need some convincing on this thing.

It's yet to be confirmed if that's the official title or not.

Hey, guys! Could this be concept art for the anime ? Check it out! If that's what it will look like - a bit like The Batman, but still awsome

I dont believe its authentic, but I dont think it looks bad at all. Kinda cool. Just needs a slightly more mature looking face/head.

This will be interesting to see. It seems kind of cool, but it is also limiting. Think about it. What happens when you introduce a character in the anime and then they reintroduce them in the next movie. I think if they follow the same way that was done for Star Wars Clone Wars, they will be awesome. In my opinion, Clone Wars was better than Episode II.

Agreed, although instead of a story leading up to TDK I see the animi-bats as something similar to Ani-Matrix, where they are more or less stand alone stories.

I don't know. remember that story with "the kid?" He was in Matrix Reloaded saying Neo saved him, so they're somehow connected. I think it has been said this series is in continuity with the movie, unless I heard different.

I found out more news on this. It's title is BATMAN: GOTHAM KNIGHT. And someone very familiar with Batman is working on this:

That does look pretty cool. Usually I'm extremely anti-anime. But since I'm a complete Batman mark... (Although, I do really wish that adult swim or scifi would start showing the Witchblade anime.)

Anyone else love the style they're using? It looks atlot like Kia Asamiya's Batman:Child Of Dreams manga.
