^^The chase is retail-wide but in a small ratio, for example someone in another board said he went to his TRU and went though 7 cases and only two cases has the chase. so lets just say he is very hard to find if the ratio is that small. im still looking to find another one since i have one moc but i want one to open.

A photo of the set was posted in the topic some time ago... I read an article that said that in most towns all the Movie Masters Joker's were sold out the day they were delivered to stores. As for the 5 inch Joker, is he getting a purple costume release outside of the multipack at all? from the photos i've seen, there's a purple-suited Joker with a boxing glove rocket launcher accessory coming out. why Mattel didn't release that one first is beyond me. the boxing glove rocket launcher at least ties into the movie, since we see Joker using a rocket launcher in the trailers. the Destructo-Case Joker looks like a Wave 5 repaint rather than a Wave 1 fig. and my local TRU has a truck coming in tomorrow, so they told me to call them tomorrow night since they'll likely have another shipment of TDK figs on it. in that case, i might get my Movie Masters Joker sooner rather than later.

Scarecrow looks pretty good, but I'll just wait for the second Movie Masters wave, since I just got Batman and Joker today.

well i checked back with my local TRU and no Movie Masters were in last night's shipment. i did manage to pick up the 12" Batman figure and the 12-inch "Bruce as Batman" variant that did come in.

Are the 12" Figures $30 like the DCSH 12" figures?

Are the 12" Figures $30 like the DCSH 12" figures? yup. i picked up two Batman figs and the one Bruce as Batman and my bill was over 90 bucks. i've been spending a lot more on TDK stuff than i probably can afford to.

From the MIB Pics it looks like they have a T-crotch now instead of the V-Crotch they gave the 12" DCSH figures. What's the artichlation? Is it the same 10 POA as the 5" figures- Neck, Cut-shoulders, elbows, waist, T-crotch & knees? Thanks.

Thanks. it's esentially the Movie Masters figure blown up to 12 inches, the writing on the box even states that. however, it lacks the cut waist, cut wrists, and ankle joints. it's definitely a figure meant more for display, especially since it comes with a display stand. i count 9 POA - one at the base of the head, one in each shoulder, elbow, and knee, and the T-crotch.

for those interested, the high demand for the Joker figures even made an article in this week's issue of Newsweek (with Obama and his campaign staff on the cover). www.newsweek.com/id/136320

I've seen many Joker's at my local Walmart, along with Bruce Waynes and the smaller figures, to fit the car...pretty nifty

From TNI -
TNI: The character Deadshot appears in the upcoming "Gotham Knights" animated DVD that fills in the gap between "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight". Any chance Mattel will be making a figure of him?
Mattel: We have looked at this very design and are really pleased at how well it will look as a toy. It may take a little while, but this is a design we want to explore for at least one of our DC toy lines.
I hope this figure shows up in either the 4" or 5" line. IF it does, yeah I'd love to be able to get Scott Free his wife, but its never been a necessity. It would help on the JLU characters I need. Plus probably be easier to find than its JLU counterpart. DrGreenEvil

Yup. Not wasting any $$ on anything DK related (maybe a single basic fig when they hit major clearance). Quite a radically underwhelming toyline IMO in everyway (even for a movie line). Not to mention easily the weakest and least interesting / attractive packaging I think Ive ever seen.

SUCCESS! my quest for the MM Joker came to an end tonight. i stopped by my local Walmart after checking Target to see if the rumor about them finally getting TDK stuff was true. i almost didn't bother trying Walmart again, i was there last night and came away emptyhanded yet again. while running my eyes over the filled pegs of basic figures yet again, i turned around for no real reason and found myself looking at Kung Fu Panda toys. but below them, sitting on the shelf, was over a dozen MM figures. and among them, i found 3 Jokers and even a Bruce as Batman chase! i snapped them all up and triumphantly headed for the registers. even the cashier commented on the figures and how the movie was coming out in July, and i told her how much trouble i had finding these figures because they were flying off the shelves.

i'm actually impressed with the Bale likeness. for a mass-market figure, it's pretty good. however, Bruce looks a little more pissed without his mask.

On action-figure.com, they put up a story of Movie Masters wave 2, though they only show the 2 Batmans, and Scarecrow, although we do get to see Batman's "crime scene evidence".
