Okay, why only in Japan? It's a licensing thing isn't it? Maybe Diamond could carry the set like they do with the Tomy Gacha toys. Oh well, probably for the best for me anyway. Drinking that much Coke would send me into a diabetic coma lol. Thanks for posting the pics Kuan.

Because these "bottle cap figures" are pretty common in Japan right now. There are quite a few different types out there. They range from Anime properties to more "Americanized" properties lately. There are a lot of movie tie-ins with this product. For example, there are Sailor Moon sets, Gundam sets, Initial D sets, Star Wars sets, Dragonball sets, Peanuts sets, Spiderman sets, MLB sets, Kubrick sets, ADIDAS shoes... the list goes on and on. The ones I've seen come in a non-see thru bag attached to the bottle. It's tough to figure out what figure is in the bag, some are tougher to find than others. Yes, there are even chase figures when you collect these! Some adults buy bottles by the carton to collect all the caps easily. They call this way of purchasing "OTONA GAI". It means "adult purchase". It's like getting a Happy Meal toy when you buy your soda. Frankly, I'm suprised we haven't seen these start popping up here in the US and Canada yet. Like I mentioned above, there seems to be a line of these out there for just about everyone, so I think they would sell very well here.

Pretty nice, but the scale of the figures seems to be all over the place.

WHOA! them things rock! I collect the Japanese "Coke" figures (Mostly just the Final Fantasy ones) and I never knew they were doing a Batman set...... this is a MUST HAVE for me..........it combines three things I love: 1: Batman 2: Coke Figures 3: Japanese things I'd sooner cut an arm off than live without these!
