I figured we might as well start a thread on some of the different costume sites and outlets that can be used for the costuming hobby.
First is the Brotherhood of the Bat. This site is the main one I belong to and is primarily Batman costumes and his supporting characters. There is a huge archive section that offers great tutorials and information on putting together a suit.

You will be prompted to register for a runboard account. It is free.
There is also The League of Heroes. This is like the BOTB only there are a variety of other costumes that are created on this board.

There is also a member of these costuming sites who has his own message board as well as his own site for acquiring generic superhero items. You can check them out here:

Here is a list of some other miscellaneous sites that can help you in your quest for a costume.

www.xtremedesignfx.com/xtremedesignfx
www.monstermakers.com/monstermakers
There are afew others that are used for various items, such as spandex or lycra suits. This will be a good start for some information, but if anyone has any questions, post them.
In addition to these "fan" made costume sights, there is always ebay to track items down. Also, dont forget about regular retail outlets, Halloween shops, and thrift stores.
Costumes can be made of almost anything, just let your imagination guide you.
