From the villain designs that we've seen on THE BATMAN and the old designs from the old cartoon, which are your favorites? Here are some comparisons: www.another batman site/WF/batman/btas/bios/joker/m02.jpg[/img] JOKER www.another batman site/WF/batman/btas/bios/bane/m01.jpg[/img] BANE www.another batman site/WF/batman/btas/bios/penguin/m03.jpg[/img] PENGUIN www.another batman site/WF/batman/btas/bios/manbat/m02.gif[/img] MAN-BAT www.another batman site/WF/batman/btas/bios/mrfreeze/m01.jpg[/img] MR. THE BATMAN's got some good designs. BTAS and GOTHAM kNIGHTS got some good ones. But I majorily lean towards BTAS. I like Catwoman but I cant stand the huge ears, makes her look more like a mouse than a cat. But whats funny, is im looking at these designs and most of them have alot in common, with the exception of the Joker of coarse. ALthough I think THE BATMAN's design of Firefly was a marked improvement over BTAS.

"THE BATMAN" DESIGNS! they all look a bit more ghoulish than the originals, but in a way, that makes them look that much more better in my opinion...

I voted TAS although these are actually TNBA designs (which I generally prefer over all of them anyway).
I do think The Batman's Firefly was the only real improvement. Killer Croc is a pretty decent upgrade too (though I liked TAS over TNBA in that case).

well . . BTAS had better looking villains and made them more realistic however due to TNBA villains being used i will go with The batman as they seem more evil and its something to do with the colour!!! SRA

[shadow=purple,left,300]I like "The Batman's" designs better than TNBA or B:TAS. They're more literal and liberal approaches to the characters.[/shadow]

I went with B:TAS because for the most part, I liked those the best. The pic's that are used from TNBA weren't as cool as the ones from B:TAS, except for Bane and Scarecrow. TB Riddler rules though. Another cool thing is the ones that were on Batman Beyond. It had the best Mr. Freeze and Joker.

That was hard! CURSE YOU BATFAN! I love the Batman: The Animated Series designs, but, he posted some of the worst pix of the characters from B:TAS. But anyway The Batman wins. I feel so guilty

Good Quiz Batfan hard choice although I put The batman I would still say it is a tie. I like all the Riddler's designs but I do enjoy this one better. I just have one thing to say Although the designs may change over time they are who they are, no matter what happens they all share the same characteristics and are partially related. Arkham Inmate don't feel guilty because it is not what is on the outside but, who they are in essence on the inside

BTAS, just for the simple fact that the some of the charachters of the batman really put me off, but some are alot better like Freeze and Catwoman just to name a few

This is my view I liked the suave old Joker and the new Joker is pretty fancy too so thats a tie I definately like The Batman's a Penguin better. The other one looked too sophisticated to be a villain. I liked the old Mr. Freeze better believe it or not. It's just a better simple design in my taste. Catwoman is a big improvement no doubt. I like this fresh take on Riddler's appearance, I like it more. But I like the original Riddler (the first not shown here) best. Both Poison Ivy's are equally attractive Bane is red? I like his look a LOT, but I thought he'd look more human...so Im not sure. Firefly is one of the biggest improvements Ive seen. Killer Croc is exceptionally better too. Clayface is now more sleek and doesnt look like hardened lava anymore The Scarface one is a toughie I like them both I think thats all and by comparison The Batman wins Dont take it personally All Star Batman, he was using sarcasm to show how tough the poll was, meaning it was good, he meant no offense

Cool! Let me think and once I have come up with some riddles we will play "A battle of witts a dual of intellects, a night of riddles scattered throughout LoG for you to solve and you alone. Here that /\/\att you never know when I'll be watching or listening and if I see anyone help with answers or see Bat-Sentry's anywhere near The Dark Nightwing LoG loses bigtime!" Couldn't help to alter that phrase lol.

I didn't know which to choose at first. The classics never die you know, but I've gotten used to "The Batman" designs as well. Anyway in the end I chose "The Batman" designs.
I like both of the Poison Ivy designs. Each charming in their own way I don't know about the rest of you, but I think that Riddler looks much better in "The Batman". I never liked that old design very much. I like the fact that Riddler looks a bit scarier now. Who said brainy people can't be a bit creepy? As for Penguin...I don't know he's pretty much the same. Well his hair is red and his teeth are sharper, but still. The new Joker scared me at first, but I've gotten used to it. Whatever Joker looks like he will still be one of Batman's greatest enemies you know. Can't change that.

I voted for Batman The Animated Series/The New Animated Series designs over The Batman. Both are great, but there is something about the BTAS design that are simple and too the point.

[glow=Black,2,300] I like all of the redesigns for TB except two: Catwoman and The Joker.
I've always preferred the B92/B:TAS version of catwoman/Selina, despite her look in the comics, and as a curvy chick, I didn't exactly appreciate the... slenderization of any of the female characters). I mean, dude, what happened to their hips?! The joker just looks more maniacal to me, and less sophisticated, less intelligent.
My fave redesign is of The Riddler, especially the hair! Honestly I could just eat him up. [/glow]

IMO, This isn't even an issue and it's laughable to compare the two! The B:TAS designs are FAR superior!!! This is probably the biggest reason I don't watch TB

If we're talking about B:TAS Vs TNBA, I liked the designs for Penguin and Riddler from TNBA more, everyone else, the B:TAS designs were better, IMO. I particularly disliked Poison Ivy and Crock from TNBA

I think both cartoons/series are beautiful in their own right. BTAS, brought upon a more adult aspect to it, dark and gritty...with a sense of the 40s and 50s. In the fashion that the Bat-Man was first created way back in the 40's.
The Batman, is beauitful in that it has brought a much lighter, younger fresh feel to it. The designs are very thin, very slimmed down and almost seem too cartoonish at times but overall I think it is great.
My only problem with the new series is that, it doesnt evoke the same feeling as BTAS did, mainly because with BTAS I had been watching it, since I was a kid and watched that world evolve from BTAS to Superman, to Batman Beyond, to Static Shock, to Zeta Project and towards JL and JLU. This new Batman show, needs to begin doing the spinoff thing as well. Perhaps a revamped younger League? Hopefully this new season will prove my point. I love the Alfred storyline in the new show, they seem to place him a lot more, than they did in the BTAS version of him. Robin and Batgirl have a bigger presence in this show, than in prevoius series...(they even brought in Oracle and Nightwing)
My point in all this is, that people should give it a chance. I did and Im glad it has lasted this long. Will it ever be BTAS? No...but look at this way. Your first car, will always be your first car...you will get new ones, bigger, faster ones...but in the end youll always have the memory of that first love...(but thinking about it the new one gets you more tail) so it all evens out.
