It may be years before I finally get these on DVD. I decided to make this a staple of a holiday, that I get one of the DCAU DVD's. The Christmas is B:TAS volume 1. I'll get volume 2 for my birthday. I might try to get one for Easter, but I doubt I will get this one worked out.

No formal word yet, but thats a good guess on the timing. although, the Superman dtv is supposedly intended to coincide with the film, so its hard to say if wb would be willing to release 3 dif versions of Supes the same time? my guess would be STAS Vol3 would still be used to capitalize on Supermania, but probably just before or just after Returns? who knows, at least im sure it wont be too long. i cant wait either!

Some minor tid bits from Dwayne McDuffie regarding the special features on the JL sets"
"There are great commentary tracks featuring lots of the first season guys but not from me, I was just a freelancer. I'm on the season 2 set though".
Could mean perhaps Season two set is ready to go asap too? Hope so. Dont want to see these sets trickled out over 3-5-10 years!? (its not like theyre the current episodes after all! lol)

WF reviewed both of these. Pretty interesting and I guess its a must buy for both:
JL S1: http://another batman site/WF/jl/releases/dvd/seasonone/
BB S1: http://another batman site/WF/beyond/releases/dvd/seasonone/
Pretty interesting stuff like: did you know that originally, a female Cyborg, Impulse, and Robin were going to be on JL? If yiou think that would've been cool, thats not what Timm thinks. Why? Get the set and find out.

JL season 2 due in June (as well as STAS season3). "JLU" season 1 due between "Sep-Dec06" which means basically by this time next year we should have the whole shabang on home video!! ! granted it cant come soon enough and I hate waiting, but thats still pretty awesome! And lets not forget, in the meantime we get tons of Supes movies, the Supes animated DTV, and Beyond vol2-4 should fall inbetween there too! I say again YEE HAAW!
