This is a speculation for all collectors ( do NOT bite MY head off on this one, lol) Mattel could be making one of the two Batgirls a chase figure.....thoughts? (FYI this isn't based on any info from Mattel..just my personal speculation...so don't freak! lol)

Well I have to say I'm glad Freeze is not much different than the original version since I don't have that one. The Joker I will have to pass on, but Lex and Darkseid look great!
Now if only I could find the first wave . . .

ok I got the magazine....first off Batman..this figure looks amazing!!! Belt buckle looks amazing!!! It has a jim lee look to it......but my only promblem with him is that he looks like an old man..his mouth and facial cheeks looks like he has wrinkles..weird..but still an overal an awesome figure to have.
batgirl( Babs) she looks like the best 6 inch female to date!!!!!!!!!! The best female head sculpt!!!! It makes dc direct and marvel legends look to shame!!!!!!!!She has articulation and carries a batarang..dayum I cant stop looking at her!! Thats how good she looks!!!
Batwoman( Cassandra kane) same sculpt like batgirl..awesome figure..so true to the comics...she also carries a batarang. I hope she comes with two heads int he package. But an awesome figure to have!!!

Azrael..looks exactly like the sdcc version..only promblem with him, thats there is no waist articualtion...but overal a must have figure!!!!!! Joker...same as before...the repaint orange pants sucks...but he carries a hammer and laughing gas...also carries a cool looking gas mask..it seems he doesnt have that much artuclation on him... Braniac..wow oh woooooww...reminds me of the superfriends toyline, but amped up!!!! An awesome figure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has that metalic skelton body

darkseid... :oa truly awesome figure!!!The ultimate darseid figure to date!!!!He caries with a motherbox device..facial sculpt superbbbbbbb!!! lex luthor..an truly awesome figure...it seems like he has same parts of mr freeze ( legs and waist) but they did an awesome job to fix it..carries with a pice of kyrtonite.... Superman..looks amazing figure with articlation!!!!!... this was written from the mag..." the figures boast 26-30 articulation. Articaultion at the waist features the ab crunch style joint found so often in japanese figures. For the Horsemen it became the preferred waist articulation mode on this line. Flying figures come artuclated so they can be posed in flying positions and with bases that will support the pose.

I'm strongly opposed to chase igures of any kind. Despite what retailers claim (and can't prove), chase figures do NOT encourage higher sales of anything. They only frustate buyers, turning them off a line. (And when frustrated, a buyer isn't likely to take the time get toothpaste as an impulse purchase.) The only people who benefit from chase figures are big oil. (From wasted gasoline driving.)
Please, Mattel, don't make this mistake.

I saw what appears to be another Mattel Batman action figure in the magazine. When is that one coming out?

Gosh why are his pants orange? It basically ruined the figure unless a collector just has some strange motivation to buy any unique types of figures. This one's definately one of them. The rest of them, I can deal with and in fact, dig very much. Mr. Freeze looks awesome with the gun and Luthor isn't too bad himself. Darkseid is just as dark as ever not much difference there. As far as it goes, just change back Joker's pants, and we're good to go

Saw the mags today, that wave4? Batman is really awesome. They don't show the Battle damage from Wave3?. The alternate cover with heroes is just very cool. I think it shows Bats, Babs, Superman and Supergirl. The Cassie Batgirl(woman?) looks great and superior to DCDs First Appearance fig.

UGH! Repaints, Series 1 was bad enough. Even though I'm passing on the Superman waves, I'll probably wind up still getting the other Batman releases. Hopefully the repaints do have a little extra articulation or cool accessories. I guess I'll wait and see.

Those are GREAT. Let's pray we make it to that wave in the States. Series 1 is already warming the pegs in my area. If you can buy an extra figure for a friend or a toy drive , do it. Just remember what happened to the Batman line. It would be a shame not to get those.

Series 1 is already warming the pegs in my area. I still haven't even seen them in my city (population over 110K) I had to go down into TX or up to OKC to find them.

They look sweet! especially Luthor IMO! I'm sure one of the Batgirls (assume Babs) will be a chase and I think that stinks in this case but I'll live. I just hope Mattel has realistic perspective and expectations regarding the likely sales of the re-paints and re-releases! I dig the Joker's gas mask though and think it's a nice creative touch and incentive to consider buying him? but it wouldve been nicer if theyre going to re-issue a comic line version to have given us the "sewer worker" version?

OMG!!!!! I must have these figures!! That new Super(or Hyper)-Articulated Batman is so beautiful! The Batgirls are great, and Azrael, Mr. Freeze, and the Superman characters are excellent, especially Lex(as I had guessed he would be). The only one I don't know about is that Joker; the only way I'll definitely get him is if he has more articulation than the first Joker, but I can't tell from the pic. Anyway, these pictures are what I've been waiting sooooo long to see; thanks Reideen for posting them. NOTE TO MATTEL: PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not decrease that Batman's articulation like you did with Batsignal Bats; keep him just like the magnifiscent 2-up I'm seeing!

This Joker looks to definetly have more articulation. He has an elbow joint that the old one has never had.
Gonna have to grab this whole series!
