I hope we get a Doc Doom from this line-that would be cool I haven't really payed much attention to the Spiderman and friends line for some reason- guess I've got enough collecting to do from other lines- but, man, if they made a Doom figure, I'd just have to buy it. That and a Magneto.

So far my favorite ML figs are- Brown Wolverine Sabretooth Magneto Phoenix Gambit Colossus Beast (altho that's most of the ML figs I own) ;D I have no Spidey Classics figs, but I really want Dual Web Swinging Spider-Man(the Alex Ross Spidey from the series). Does anyone own Shoot 'n' Trap Spider-Man(he's in series 11)? He looks to me like Ultimate Spidey, which I like, but I don't know about his articulation. From pictures, it looks like he sacrificed all of his arm articulation except shoulders for his action feature, but I can't be sure.

I got the movie Dr. Doom. I looked everywhere for him and when I wasnt even looking for him, I found him. I got it at a KB toys of all places. His action features awesome. Its so cool I dont even mind that it restricts his arm movements. But I do mind it affects his head. But still an awesome figure.

Anyone see Toyfare 100? It had big pics of series 12 - the same pics from that link that was posted - but much easier to see. And I was thinking, that's 2 out of 3 costumed Wolverines that got a maskless version(classic yellow/blue and modern yellow/blue) - anyone think we'll ever see a maskless series 6 brown and tan Wolvie? Especially since he spent a LOT of time maskless in that costume. Just a thought.

Just a thought. oh Id imagine so Hush.hes a no brainer and since the Wolvie figs sell so well Id say we will see plenty more of him down the road-Id really like him in his spy outfit and sabretooth too and Maverick ;D I picked up the MetaMorphs Captain America last week and I love it-its the only one I will get though although the octopus one looks good and would be good for the SHS figs to fight........

Movie Doom hasnt shown in Ireland yet but Im hearing the first one is superior-can anyone shed some light on this for me

Post by TheJoker on Nov 4, 2005 22:34:59 GMT -5
Yes......its is far superior. At least to me. This one I just picked up may look nice and look like it has tons of articulation....but its action feature sucks. Its the squeeze legs and watch his hand move feature. His hands may have some decent articulation but becuase of this action feature, his legs are useless even with the included knee and ankle articualtion. His head and mask look nice but not when put toggether. He looks like he has a huge head when he has it on.
I use the mask on other figures. I put mine on Prof X and looks really good. If you want a maskless doom, pick this up. If not, dont.
The first one is good as the light is really bright. The leg articulation is really good. Although the head and arms movements are hindered by the light up feature, it is much better then the one I just bought. Dont know about series 3 Doom as he has not shown up, although he does look to be decently articulated from what I can see from online photos.
Hope this helps.
