I am so delighted to be getting a Plain Ol Clark in a suit-my Super Powers Clark was getting Lonely!!and it really encourages me on the possibility of a Bruce figure on the topic of DCSH4 Lex is the pick of the bunch for me by a long shot.I will get Darkseid and Brainiac for sure but Lex is the one Im looking forward to the most. The Batgirl/Bats pack is great-I will skip DCSH3 Bats now and wait for the pack.Mattel really should have relased Attack Armor Bats here in this pack though because so many didnt get him and are still clamoring for him

Good stuff. Having just bought the DCD's second wave of COIE figs, I'm less excited about these than I was a few days ago but I'll still pick them up. It looks Lex and Darkside both turned out great!

The single Superman looks like the original from the Batman/Superman two pack.

Not happy wit hthe Superman as it's the Mattel In-house teams figure. Where is the Battle Damaged Superman the Horsemen sculpted? He was supposed to be in this wave. love the rest, but not liking the reused old Superman. PJ

Darkseid looks good, but doesn't seem tall enough...hard to really tell for sure though. Robot Brainiac is okay, but frankly I prefer the DC Direct version. Lex is damn good, hard to pick which is better, this one or the DC Direct one (though of course this one is cheaper), but whereas the DCD one was a great translation of it's comic counterpart, this one reminds me more of the animated Lex. Clark's arms seem out of proportion to the rest of him, but it could just be the picture, need to see a bigger/more detailed look at him before making a final judgement. And Batgirl (just because she's here) I've got to say I was a little disappointed with - she has a great headsculpt, but her hip joints are pretty ugly, and worse, her arms are way, way too thin. I mean they look like they're prosthetic or something, they're so out of proportion with the rest of her body and frame...really throws off the look of what was otherwise a pretty nice figure all in all.

Egads, he opened up the prototype packages! "faints" LOL! The figures are starting to look better and better. The only disappointment for me is the re-release of the Superman from the old 2 pack, shame on you Mattel!

Another thing, is it looks like Mattel is using the free comic books with this wave. I thought they were moving towards the diorama background?

actually, if you look closely, u can see these comics are not new. these are the same ones that came withe the dcsh wave 2 with supes, supergirl, doomsday, and bizzaro. i think these are production samples. and also, if you look at luthor's boots, one is reversed. hir right foot (our left), is the correct position, while the opposite one is reversed. mattel screwed up on the dcsh3 mr freeze...both his boots are backwards. it isn't that obvious, but its a design aspect that will hopefully be corrected.

So there's no surprise there. The other 2 sets (Batman/Batgirl & Clark Kent/Superman) are for future release. The Batman/Batgirl set will also be straight reissues also. (Series 3 Batman) PJ

Are the two pack Superman Bizarro figures hard to find? Cuz I haven't found any yet. There's at least 7 Targets by me, but I've only seen them in one store. I've heard 2 others have had them also, but I've only actually seen them in one of the stores. That was last week and there were still 2 sitting there yesterday. PJ

I was only going to get the Batman figures from Mattel but the Superman related ones look so good. The sculpts are really decent. I may have to get them as well. My list of "needed" figures is too long already! ;D

Guys, if your interested in the DCSH series four Superman figs get to Big Lots if you have one close by. Not being into Superman too much I passed but they had at least two of each figure and one each of the red and black super emblem variants. And they are only 8 bucks a shot. The Superman is indeed the one released in '03 but has a revamped paint job and really looks good! Brainiac was cool as well, as for Darkseid, he should have been bigger... Oh well, they are nice figs just the same.

It's hard to tell from the pics, but are Lex's arms and legs reused from the Freeze sculpt?

It's hard to tell from the pics, but are Lex's arms and legs reused from the Freeze sculpt? Yes and No. You have it backwards. The Horsemen have said that they had sculpted the Lex first and Freeze reuses the Lex's arms and legs. PJ
