Thanks for the link!

Hmmm... That's odd. If true, DCD must be exploring new formats.

While I like the black better than the blue, I won't be getting it. I'm still waiting for the All Star B&R figures to come out, then I'll probably get a black version.

This is probably similar to that recent Ed McGuinness Batman/Superman 2-pack. That was a really nice set, and came with a trade paperback of their first story arc, I believe. Great deal at $25 or so?
This Scarecrow set only has a 24 page comic, but I would imagine it's in a similar format as far as the packaging goes.
Thanks for the heads-up. Hadn't seen that listing before...

I bet I.C. might be right? I would be happy if that were the case. And if I were to find it at a reasonable price I would happily buy it. I would love a loose Hush Bats and Crow and I really dig the black re-paint personally.

Yeah this probably is DC Direct trying to find new ways of putting out their product. Similiar to the Batman/Superman one they had out. Id love it if they did more of these two packs. 2 figures and and a pretty good size comic for $25 isnt that bad. Id love a Vertigo one with Swamp Thing and Constantine.

I wonder if it's just a case of the pic being over-exposed, but that looks like a lighter paint scheme on Scarecrow as well. I might grab this set if the price was right.
Oh, and yeah, DCD are exploring new options, most (if not all) new waves from next year will now be five figures and a variant, rather than just the traditional five figure format, so this could be another step in their restructuring.

Without wishing to be negative, I was really excited at the prospect of getting a black/grey Hush Batman but now that he is to be painted in his BA scheme, I am not so interested now. Shame as I was really into this set.
