Is anybody else getting tired of the one liners from Ron Simmons? Don't get me wrong I thought they were great at first, and it wasn't done every single week, but now it's atleast two or three times a show, it has gotten old in my view.

jlavaia where would you have seen Jeff Hardy at this point heading into SummerSlam if he wasn't suspended? facing Umaga for the IC Title. the match had already been set when he got suspended, so they had to change it.

I getting tired of it too. Damn, wam, nam, yam, clam, spam. This guy was a former world champion for gods sake. You know how Chuck Palumbo's coming back to SmackDown! right? What I don't like though is that they're treating it like it's the first time he's ever been there. Anyone who saw the Billy and Chuck tag team will definately not forget Chuck Palumbo.

they also keep talking about how he's been in japan wrestling. he wrestled in japan in 2004 and alittle of 05. his ring work was atrocious over there as well. he has also already debuted on smackdown and they did say he was a former tag team champion. then they took him off tv and now they air vignettes for his return. don't expect much from him. also his finisher is now the Black Hole Slam just not done as well. he is the third wrestler in WWE to use the move (Umaga and Big Daddy V being the others), and WWE is having them use it after Abyss ripped off Umaga's running hip splash in the corner so they are ripping off his finisher, with Umaga at first using it as a basic move to little or no effect to his opponent.

So who is getting Summerslam? I am in the middle right now because I might get the UFC tonight and don't really want to pay for two PPV's over the weekend, but then again that's what PPV parties are for, getting them with groups to cut the cost in half...

there were no surprises at all. every match you knew who would win from when it was announced. especially the diva battle royal. Beth Phoenix will be the champ soon and dominate as she is far superior to every woman in the WWE in wrestling skills and sheer power.
also Cade and Murdoch beat London and Kendrick in the dark match.

I watched the PPV last night and like already mentioned, no surprises and you could pretty much tell the outcome of the match before it went down.
The funniest moment of the entire show was when Coach, Teddy Long, William Regal, and Vince McMahon were in the back talking about who McMahon's kid was and out pops Cryme Tyme, and they started there Money, Money, ya, ya rant and started dancing around the McMahon, Regal, Coach, and Teddy Long, then Coach and Long got involved with the dancing, which was great and then all of a sudden Regal starts dancing around with them as well, and he goes off on this silly butt dance and everybody has stopped and Regal has his back to everybody and when he turns around Ron Simmons is standing there and well we can all guess what he said. But the funny part was the way Regal was dancing.... and the Coach's face when he was dancing....Classic
Rey Mysterio looked really out of shape and winded throughout his match up, and remember how they were saying oh he is coming back with all new moves? I didn't see any new moves, the only thing that was different was after he hits the 619 instead of doing that Leg Drop from the top rope he does a body splash.
I hope CM Punk and John Morrison is done, because John Morrison deserves some better talent to wrestle against, there is just something about CM Punk that I don't like
Another great moment from last night was the the MVP vs Matt Hardy beer drinking challenge, and Matt Hardy tells MVP he has a substitute for himself and out comes Stone Cold Steve Austin, who drinks some beers and STUNS MVP's butt, and MVP wOw, he took an awesome Bump, and really sold the Stunner!!!
And how much longer is Khali going to be champion? YaWn.... The guy is really bad, I don't get why they are dragging this Batista/Khali fued out so long. Just give Batista the damn title, and let him run with it until Edge returns...
The Triple Threat IC Match wasn't all the great, a bit rushed and sloppy. Mr Kennedy hit his finisher on Carlito and as he stood up got nailed with the Samoan Spike, which is the dumbest move on the planet
Triple H looked great, slim and cut, thank goodness he is back. Now just bring him the title and let him run with it, because it's all about the GAME!!!

Hogan Son Home After Car Crash by Josh Grossberg Mon, 27 Aug 2007 10:11:50 AM PDT
Hulk Hogan is breathing a sigh of relief about now.
That's because his teenage son, Nick Bollea, was released on Monday from a hospital in Clearwater, Florida, and is now recovering at home, one day after a car wreck left the 17-year-old seriously injured and another male passenger clinging to his life.
Wayne Shelor, a spokesman for the Clearwater Police Department, said Bollea was behind the wheel of a yellow Toyota Supra and driving at a high rate of speed at approximately 7:30 p.m. Sunday when he lost control on a four-lane highway in downtown Clearwater. The car's rear tires jumped a raised median, sending the vehicle spinning into a palm tree.
Firefighters on the scene subsequently extracted the men from the tangle of metal, and they were treated on the scene by paramedics before being taken by helicopter to Bayfront Medical Center in nearby St. Petersburg.
Bollea's injuries were described as non-life threatening, while his friend, 22-year-old John Graziano, was listed in critical condition.
Local station Tampa Bay News 10 interviewed witnesses who claimed the Hogan Knows Best star was racing a silver Dodge Viper at the time of the crash.
However, Shelor declined to speculate on the cause of the horrific accident, pending the outcome of an investigation. Authorities have also ruled out alcohol as a possible factor. No charges have been filed.
Bollea is best known to tube viewers as Nick Hogan on VH1's popular reality series, Hogan Knows Best, on which he appears with his famous dad, mom Linda, and sister Brooke.

MVP & Matt Hardy are tagteam champs?? WTF??? WWE does this way too often. they take 2 guys that are feuding and make them pair up against the Tag Team Champions and they get the titles. remember Cena and Michaels were the tag champs during road to wrestlemania. hopefully this will lead to the Daltons coming up and winning the titles or Paul Birchall and Dave Taylor getting the titles. i would expect it to be the Daltons though as Ray Gordy is quite a good wrestler and they are looking for an opening for when they can get them wrestling on tv instead of in those vignettes. though why they are packing him as Jesse Festas instead of Ray Gordy, second generation star, or re-doing the Freebirds with Michael Hayes as the manager is beyond me.

I had no idea! yeah Jesse Dalton is Terry Gordy Jr., son of Terry Gordy. he is real good in the ring and shined in the independants and WWE Development. he wrestled under the name Ray Gordy for many years. Festus Dalton is The Freakin Deacon and was the fake Kane from last year, for those who are wondering. WWE really could have done them alot better, such as making a new Fablous Freebirds team, especially since Michael Hayes still works for WWE and could have managed them. how great a feud it could have been to see Gordy/Deacon against the Stampede Bulldogs when WWE finally brings them up for the new Hart Foundation. though that match may happen at some point it won't be the same. it also won't happen for awhile as they want the new Hart Foundation on Raw (though Teddy Hart on a live show could prove to be a bad move. he's one of the most exciting wrestlers in the industry, but he is quite volatile and has ruined a few indy shows with his antics.)

Thanks... i used to, and put them in another thread, but a mod told me to put all wrestling in this thread, so i do. also they are not spoilers. the unforgiven card is almost set and this match was in the plans since before Summerslam and when i posted about the tag title match, the match had already occured (meaning it could not have spoiled anything if its posted after it has ended, if it were a spoiler i would have had to have the result of the match before it took place).

- WWE has suspended 10 of its superstars for violated the wellness program. they have yet to release the names, but more will be known during the weekend. also starting November 1 for anyone who violates the wellness program their name will be released to the media immediately following the violation.
- New Japan Pro Wrestling will be branching into Korea very soon and doing alot of cross promoting with AWF in Seoul.

I agree. Posting that a certain match id going to be on a PPV is not a spoiler. Posting that a title has changed hands on SD before it airs, like they did with Edge and Khali is a spoiler
