Found this on www.tvshowsondvd.com - Warner Bros has revealed plans to release Batman: The Animated Series Volume 4 before the end of the year. The fourth volume in the series will include the 24 episodes of Batman: Gotham Knights, the series that began in September '97. We expect it to be released in December, though the studio hasn't made a formal announcement, and likely won't for at least another 3 months. I am so excited - now i wish i never bought all of culumbia house batman!

I'm glad to hear that it will be released. I hope that this sells well and they'll put the full Batman Beyond series on DVD. I also can't wait for the rest of Superman TAS.

Woo-hoo! Though, it is kind of sad in a way...Going from the wonderful, detailed character designs of B:TAS, to, the sleek, one-could-say simplified mass-market TNAB...

On the bright side, at least Superman Vol 2 will be uniform with Vol 1. By the way, does anyone know which set will get World's Finest 1-3, or the Superman & Robin Episode and the Batgirl Supergirl Episode?

Superman will include - 'the world's finest' part 1-3 and Knight time!
Batman will include - 'Girls nite out'
So 18 on Superman - 24 on Batman!

[shadow=purple,left,300]This is indeed great news. I guess us bat-fans really are getting spoiled this year.[/shadow] WB knows that they NEED to sell as much merchandise now while the "buzz" is still great around Batman and great movies as well, because, if (and hopefully the Schumacher's will never again assume the chancellorship of Gotham) the films get worse again, then they won't be able to sell the items to the casual audience anymore, and it was hard enough this time around...

[shadow=purple,left,300]I like it. It's also nice that they included "From the New Batman Adventures" in the title, so people can differentiate the two series if need be, while keeping a sense of continuity by calling it "B:TAS Vol. 4."[/shadow]
