I'm very stoked for this to come out, We lost WB about 3 or 4 weeks into this show starting. to this date i can only recall seeing 4 maybe 5 episodes
i still need the DVD set before this (Being unemployed can make yah' a bit poor... what's that BA in art good for ANYWAYS?)
but i was hoping that this set would come out.

Thanks, this is great news. I am a huge fan of the New Adventures, the crispness of the animation and the overall flow of the series was a favorite of mine. December cannot get here soon enough!

My fav episode is "Legends of The Dark Knight". I love the reference to "The Dark Knight Returns" by Frank Miller!

This set, along with the vastly under-rated Superman: The Animated Series is hitting on Tuesday. Anyone have any specific episodes they can't wait to revisit on this set? "Mad Love," "Legends of the Dark Knight," "Old Wounds," and "Never Fear" are the first ones I'm going to spin.
Plus I can't wait to hear what's bound to be a hilarious commentary for "Critters."

Anyone know what intro they will use for these episodes? I don't know about else where but when the newer episodes/series hit here in Hawaii, it was part of the Batman Superman adventure and had that intro...will the new DVD have that intro or a new one that was made or be made for this series? A Gotham Knights intro?
I just paid for the set today after work...$45. Gonna pick it up after class on Tuesday!

Legends of the Dark Knight is just superb. And I'm absolutely looking forward to the commentaries for the eps that have them -- they're usually hilarious. I haven't seen most of the TNBA episodes but I love the design so I'm really excited about catching up.

I guess there is/was no new intro for the Gotham Knights show. The 4th DVD gives you an option at the begining to choose which intro you will see before each episode...The original Batman: TAS intro or the Batman/Superman Adventures intro.
OK guys, off to watch the DVD...Just started watching the first disc...Holiday Knights...Take care guys!

OK, help me out. I just purchased BTAS Vol 4 from Wal-Mart, but haven't opened it yet (XMas gift that I WILL wait for ) I noticed the sets at Best Buy has a sticker applied that mentions Collectible Animation Cel inside. Is this a Best Buy Pack In Exclusive, or do all of the sets contain this? Thanks for the help. I would much rather have the cel than save a few bucks! Jason

SRA Back of box Gatefold front and back CD 1 & 2 CD 3 & 4 Yes, Poison Ivy is in the villains featurette...pretty cool as they have a little bio of the villain, first appearances and a clip of the villain and then Andrea Romano, Bruce Timm, Alan Burnett Eric Rodamski, Paul Dini and others tell a little about the differences between the TAS series and the GK series. I checked Target early Tuesday and they didn't have it, crossed the street to Best Buy and picked up Batman for $35.99 and Superman for $23.99,the Superman cel is Superman carrying Lois through the air, anyone remember which was the first episode of The New Batman Adventures? I wish they were in the order they aired on the DVD's!

I found a copy at Wal*Mart the other day. I was a bit disappointed on how difficult it was for me to find this. I had to travel to three stores to find it.
I have to say though, that when TNBA came out, I didn't watch it much. The schedule didn't mesh well with mine, similar to The Batman now. Some of the episodes were completely new to me like "Beware the Creeper" and "Chemistry". I think that this series had some great episodes, and really took BTAS to the next level. Episodes like "Legends of the Dark Knight" and "Over the Edge" are fantastic.
This show even takes classic characters to new heights. "Mad Love" is a classic. After watching it, you really feel for Harley, you see the human aspects of her, and how her unconditional love is her tragic flaw. Characters such as Two Face are given even more tragedy as Harvey Dent and Two Face battle between each other so much, that the Judge is born.
This is an amazing show and it's ashame it lasted for such a short time. I would have really liked to see where this show could have gone with further character development.
