Legions of Gotham, your source for The batman and The Batman Strikes has an exciting scoop for all the fans.
Sources indicate that Batman Strikes #15 will include Dracula! This will apparently be done by Matthew Manning and Wes Craig, the crew from Strikes #10!
Congrats to Matthew and Wes, both members of our forum.

Sounds good. Maybe it'll tie into the film's storyline? Oh well, this sounds cool.

Congratulations are in order for Matthew and Wes! Another issue of The Batman Strikes for them to sink their teeth into (bad pun, I know), and hopefully a sign that DC will continue to give them more work. Issue ten was excellent, and I believe Mr. Manning also wrote a couple of very good Justice League issues -- like Dan Slott, this is one writer to keep an eye on. I'll look forward to this issue. Once more, congratulations.

[shadow=green,left,300]Sorry I was out for so long guys. But now I'm back. yay. THis sounds cool, but I think that the movie "The Batman Versus Dracula" is a little kiddish... more or less on a Scooby-Doo mystery level. A zombie in the series is one thing, but this is outta whack.
By the way, little personal announcment... my house has been redecorated with a batman-logo cell phone, house phone, T.V., DVD player, soundsystem and giant grandfather clock. It's in this one part of the house that is strickly off limits to anyone but myself. I feel like a spoiled little kid! ;D[/shadow]

[shadow=green,left,300]I too loved the Dracula movies and the book but... He and Batman come from two different universes and this is just a little... uhh. Doesn't anyone else think this isn't good for the dark knight's image??[/shadow]

i think it's perfect for the dark knight's image. hell, if dracula weren't already an established character in his own universe, i think he would have made a great rogue character for batman to deal with. he's like a mix between ra's al guhl and... well, a vampire :-P ...seriously though, i think Dracula makes for an AWESEOME villain in the batman's universe.

Thanks, guys. Just to let you know, the issue is a prequel of sorts, not an adaptation by any means. The issue is set about fifteen or twenty minutes into the film, something you'll all understand once you watch the DTV.
Hope you guys like the comic, and if you missed my first issue of Batman Strikes (#10), it's being collected in the second Strikes digest this September. Thanks again for the kind words.

Cool Can't wait! It would also be cool to see Vicky Vale, since she appears in the movie too.
