Legions of Gotham was the 1st to break the news that there would be a Batman vs. Dracula Batman Strikes tie-in issue, done by Matthew Manning and Wes Craig (the creative team of strikes #10). Now, courtesy of our pal Jeff Matsuda, we're able to bring you the 1st peek at the cover for this exciting upcoming issue! The always amazing Dave McCaig will be providing the colors! bat-fans: Please remember to buy the Batman v Dracula DTV! and this comic! Help support the Batman! This is especially exciting for two reasons....the 1st is that there are so few images of Dracula available to us fans right now...and also, because this is a solid look at Matsudas drawing of the character....as you faithful LoG'ers know, Dracula was actually designed by our other character design pal Thomas Perkins!

[shadow=green,left,300]As far as his face goes... It kinda looks like the point when Langstrom drinks the Man-Bat formula between human-and-monster... But he looks cool. Haha i like batman running through the graveyard with a stake idk but its kinda funny lmao.
One question though... if Count Dracula is Transylvanian... WTF IS HE DOING IN GOTHAM CITY!?!!?!?!
Another reason why I don't think the two characters should mix... but it might be good...
Still looks awesome tho...[/shadow]

Between Jeff and I, we'll make sure you get a copy Andy! For certain!
I really like this cover! It shows what the crew has been telling us here on LoG since day one...that this DTV is TOUGH. They had a lot more freedom than they do on the network, so I'm really looking forward to this one!

The notion of a "de-kiddied" episode of "The Batman" is VERY interesting...

Still looks awesome tho...[/shadow] This isn't the first pairing of Batman and Dracula, and it certainly won't be the last. They're two mythological characters with roots in darkness. Elsewords tales, such as Red Rain, have actually been quite entertaining. I know Bats is one of the most realisitic "super heroes"...but he IS still fictional gang, lol. Its really ok when he fights creatures that don't exist once in awhile.

This show isn't as intense as BTAS or TNBA so I guess that it's more for the kids then for the hardcore fans of LoG.[/shadow]

[shadow=green,left,300]One question though... if Count Dracula is Transylvanian... WTF IS HE DOING IN GOTHAM CITY!?!!?!?![/shadow] I'm sure the movie will explain this within the story... but it seems like a plot-point that shouldn't have an explanation expected before the movie's even released. [glow=green,2,300]BTW has "Meltdown" aired in the states yet?[/glow] Yup... it aired a while ago.

Don't worry. Everything you need to know is explained in the movie. The violence is indeed upped from the show a notch or two. (Wait until you see the blood bank scene.)
And isn't it a great cover? Can't wait to see it in color.
